It would also be a very interesting fight. Pirog is very skilled. But I'd love to see either May or Pac "stay brave" and go for a Sergio fight. Sergio has done more than enough to deserve a high profile fight with a big payday that comes with it.
I fully agree with you man, if i could have it my way i would get Martinez the Pac or Mayweather fight for huge bucks ... i mean the guy simply deserves it... he gave it his all ... hes 35+ with really not much left to prove the guy deserves his BIG payday so he will be set for life. But personally my fantasy matchup is Martinez vs Pirog.... the sad reality is that its a low money fight and it probably won't happen, i also would not blame Martinez 1 bit for not taking it. I think Pirog needs a fight with Pavlik to get him on the mainstream radar, a fight i personally think he would win a lot easier than people expect. (and people can quote me on this if the fight happens and Pavlik KO's him)

Sergio deserves a big money fight after defeating Pavlik and Williams in amazing fashion but a unification fight with Pirog would be interesting as well.
He needs to fight in the USA, the other champs, WBA, IBF etc Sturm and Sylvestor should come over so that he can unify. Cotto, Mayweather and Pacman won't want him, he's fast and a dangerous puncher. Great fighter.
I agree that Williams is not a MW but I think his comment about Manny is a thinly disguised challenge.
It's a shame Bute is out of contention now that he's with Showtime. By the time Bute is out of that contract, Martinez will be retired and/or Bute will be too big for SMW. I don't think it will be Mayweather either. It looks like Mayweather wants to fight at 147lbs whereas Martinez wants to fight at 160lbs. So it looks like Felix Sturm? Nah... wouldn't sell... ...some "dangerous" "name" opponent.
