    He has a fair point.

The fight would be at some sought of catchweight and he may cop some **** if he wins because of the size difference.

Nah, let's see Pac - Floyd instead.

I agree that Sergio never fights Pacquiao and I am pleased that this will be so for all the right reasons for once, instead of the reasons why Floyd and Pacquiao haven't been able to get it on(i.e. Floyd's disgraceful cowardice).

Pac will never fight above 147 again. Martinez is just way too big.

He's 100% right, Pac would be too brave for his own good. Barring some ridiculous catchweight ... Martinez KOs Pac.

it opens up a lot of questions. Either he goes for Pac/Mayweather, moves up and goes after Bute/Ward/Abraham/Froch etc or he can stay in the middleweight division and stagnate waiting on Lemieux/Golovkin/Pirog etc to become big matches

Pac is my favorite fighter, but he should not fight him. Martinez is simply to big, and has a bad style for Pac. I think Pac could do well for a while, and maybe avoid being KOed like WIlliams, but even if it goes the distance...Pac will be in a world of pain by the end of it.
I don't know how Martinez/ Mayweather would work because of styles. Mayweather would stand a better chance against Martinez, but still I think Martinez is to big, takes a good punch, is more aggressive than Mayweather (though they have that counter style).
Neither guy should fight him honestly. I don't think to many people are going to criticize Pac who is like a 140 pd fighter, floyd who is 147 pd fighter to take on a 160 pd guy with good defense, athletic, good power, good stamina (that beat a guy who outweighed him by like 15 pds in pavlik as well).
