The Board will discuss David Haye’s assertion, later withdrawn, that he had placed a bet on himself to defeat Harrison in round three of his World Boxing Association heavyweight title defence in Manchester on Nov 13.
Harrison, who landed with one jab, and was stopped in the third round, is thought to have earned £1.5 million for his part in the title contest. His performance will also be scrutinised by the Boxing Board.
Robert Smith, general secretary of the Board, said the heavyweights could be called to justify their actions.

“We've taken on board what David has said, his first statement and his second statement,” said Smith. “The board can issue him with a warning, but we have lots of options.
"With Audley, some of the money has been paid but the promoter has been advised not to pay all the money until after our deliberations.”
Elsewhere, Ricky Hatton has insisted his weight loss has nothing to do with a rumoured comeback against Oscar de la Hoya.
The former two-weight world champion has shed 34lb in five weeks since leaving The Priory, where he was treated for depression.
Hatton, 32, said: “When I made the decision to enter rehab I weighed 14st 6lb, but now I am down to 12 stone. I’m feeling fantastic and I am happy.”
Hatton added: “Oscar said he was angry over the story and I don’t blame him. It is absolute rubbish. Nothing was ever said to me, and right now my main concern is the show we are staging next week.
"As far as a comeback goes, I am still of the opinion I had 18 months ago. I have no ambition to come back.”
Hatton is banned from boxing by the British Boxing Board of Control at present.
Hatton will promote his upcoming show, headed by younger brother Matthew, who defends the European welterweight title on Friday at the Reebok Stadium against Switzerland’s undefeated Roberto Belge.
Elsewhere, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Saturday night, Sergio Martinez retained the World Boxing Council middleweight title with a devastating second round left handed knock-out of American Paul Williams.
Williams had beaten Martinez by split decision last December. The Spaniard could now go on to meet either Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather Jnr.

i reckon they'll keep some back

I don't think they'll with hold it, they got a lot of complaints about the fight which was a complete farce btw. But they just want to be seen to be taking some action, can't see them keeping it.

As pissed off as I was with Harrison's lack of fight I dont want to see him lose any of his purse. Haye, on the other hand, went on record after the fight to say that he had put a bet on himself for the 3rd round win. This is against the rules and he should be brought to book.

The excellent prizefighter we had last night, went some way towards recovering the damage that this fight did towards British boxing. Any further conversation on this fight is irrelvant.

Exactly. Don't punish Audley for being Audley! Everyone in the know, Sky, Haye, Booth, boxing journalists, etc, apparently knew what he was bringing to the table so how can he be punished when everyone else who went along with the fight gets a free pass?

David Haye broke the rules but is getting away with it because he came out later denying what he had bragged about on live tv with thousands watching. It just doesn't make sense.

Yeah. I have to laugh, just because Haye came out and said he was only kidding about his bet, it is meant to make it alright. Does it ****, I hope he gets sued until his balls fall off. Greedy ****er, as if he wasnt fleecing us enough.

If Audleys Purse gets with-held does that entitle SBO viewers a right to ask for partial refund? Not that i bought it but its kind of saying that the fight was a SHAM by the authorities.

I dont expect sky to do f-all but count there cash and laugh at their viewers but morally they should at least offer money of the next box office to people who bought the shambles

Think the board are doing it just for the sake of it. They want to come across as responsible and all that.

Did they really expect Audley to be any better? If so why?

Kneejerk load of rubbish, I bet every boxer out there bets on themselves if they are confident in their own ability's. Shame on Dave for being honest.

This is a face saving exercise by the BBBof C that will go nowhere.
