berto doesn't deserve a shot. it's not pac duty to give these ungrateful up and comers shots. they should all fight each other first and then the winner will have a real claim to fight pac.
Hmmm, I seem to recall Pac stating definitively that he back against the ropes against Margarito because he was "hurt". Were those not his exact words, so to act as if Margarito has so much more power than Berto...**** I can't call that. Not to mention Berto is light years faster than Margarito, that said, I think Pac wins the fight but it would be interesting.
I love all these Pac fans saying Berto doesn't deserve a shot so who does than! Hmmm, let me guess... does this fighter need to have a few losses(3 or more)? Do they need to have been brutally beaten or KO'd recently?? Or do they have to be someone who looked pretty bad or who everone knows is shot?? It sounds to me that a lot of you guys actually see Berto as a threat based on the fact that he does have speed, ability, reflexes and some power!! Can anyone who disagrees with Berto being Pac's next opponent tell me the last time or anytime Pac has fought an opponent w/any of those attributes(barring power)?? I'll wait!!!
Berto has not beaten 1 good fighter in his entire career. He is not viable at all. Beating Freddy Hernandez makes me yawn!!! Golden Johnson already did it.
Hey if you are don't be scared to state it, if your not, say so!! Why don't respond to my question instead of crying about whether someone is or isn't a Pac fan! I can say atleast 95% or more of the ppl disagreeing are Pac fans(you included)!! Respond to my question!!
Berto has extremely fast hands. His power is questionable. Pac acknowledged being hurt by Tony's bodyshot in the 6th rd, which everyone could see doubled him over. He did respond to a question about why he was allowing himself to be backed up to the ropes; and I thought his response meant that he was trying to psyche Margarito out like he wasn't worried that Tony could hurt him against the ropes, but that the punches in fact did hurt. He also mentioned being caught with an uppercut that hurt him at some point. My point still stands. Berto got dropped by an uppercut from Cosme Rivera. Unless Rivera is a converted southpaw, that punch was thrown from his weak hand. Pacquiao has had two recent fights that hinged on his left uppercut changing the momentum. At the same time, whether he was ever seriously "hurt" by his opponent's uppercuts, he was never on wobbly legs or showed the slightest hint of going down from one.
Berto is probably better than Mosely for Pac. I believe Mosely Pac will be as taxing as the recent Margo fight considering how both fighters fight. Pac deserves a break.
You're laughing at my avatar??? :rofl:rofl:rofl Anyway, what is you're problem then??? If you don't mind it put yourself in the 5% and stop crying!!
this guy isnt even on pacs level. go and beat a few Hall of famers then come and talk. but if he does get a chance to fight pac man....he better thank God 4 the chance of a lifetime. pacs at a level where his name is gonna make any opponent alot of money.
