Provided he had the balls to enter the ring with the dog.

At 154 I'd pick Floyd. He'd have martinez figured out in a few rounds.

Floyd is quick and a good fighter. Martinez is good, but beating Williams and Pavlik is not like beating Floyd. And this might sound stupid, but Martinez has looked great beating two tall guys. Fighting a smaller faster guy might not work well with his style.

Martinez has shown to be very intelligent in the ring. He always fights with the same Foundation but his fights with Williams/Pavlik he fights with different styles basically. I just know Martinez is gonna be fully aware that hes the bigger man and fight more aggressive then we've ever seen him. I see Floyd waiting to Pot Shot and just being overwhelmed with a accurate punch volume. Floyd would have to throw at least 30/40 punches a round to win or at least keep it competitive. I also think Floyd's not necessarily getting "easy" fights but for the most part he hasn't been pushed much recently so hes definitely relaxed and might be too confident.

Maravilla might take some rounds off in the middle but he would close strong and i would count on a late stoppage for Martinez. I Basically see Martinez using his own adaptation of Pacquiao's style to beat Floyd with a lot of angles and aggression. In Floyds past couple fights (since about de la hoya) he doesn't seem to use his legs like he used to and has been getting away with just sick dip game at the hips. I don't Feel like Floyd can Fight on the back foot for 12 hard rounds like he did against Castillo now a days (i thought he still lost a close fight but he fought well).

sorry for the rant i was inspired after watching Martinez-Pavlik and Mayweather-Marquez again. Floyd-Martinez could be the best thing to come out of this Pacquiao-Mayweather bull**** lol.

Delroc, you would pick Martinez with a late stoppage? get real

Martinez would win the first three or four rounds, Floyd would get his timing down, figure him out, and probably win the next six rounds. Sergio is fighter of the year and last night's KO was brutal, but he isn't stopping Floyd and most likely loses a decision to him, Sergio is too wide and Floyd is very defensive, PWill's defense is limited

Floyd would possibly win a split decision. maravilla would try to box with floyd but his skills isn't on floyd's level. he would be countered, thus necessitating a change in style. maravilla would begin to impose his size and hopes he lands a big one similar to that landed by mosley. he would win some rounds by keeping pressure on floyd but floyd has an advantage in stamina and win some of the last rounds.
