What you guys think of this guy? i was pretty impressed, i mean the guy was alittle bit too patience, but fuk when he become aggressive he had such amazing speed and good target, every kick/punch was solid no sloppy **** from the guy.
Patience is a valuable asset in the fight game, but he seemed a little too content to just ride out the third round and get the decision victory. However, this could be attributed to the fact that this was his first UFC fight, and nerves probably played a factor. The guy does have an overwhelming amount of KO wins on his record, and that was only his second decision win of his career. I look forward to his future fights, as there were flashes of excellence in his performance last night.
looked great in spells, but im sure dana wont be too pleased with him not doing anything in the 3rd. i felt if he pushed a bit harder he could have got harris out of there.
That guy is extremely strong and explosive. Just a matter of giving him opponents that are more conventional I think. Hard as hell to try and time a counter of a guy trying to throw lunging single shots all night. But there was certainly room for him to be more aggressive and true to the Chute Box reputation. Guy seems to have oodles of skill, speed, power, timing and potential.
As I said in my thread the first round was ended early for some reason and he could have ended it had it not been. He looked good but was largely too inactive especially in the third and having watched some of his stuff on youtube he looks like a ****. Barboza looked more impressive to me, vicious leg kicks.
