Pavlik/Martinez was alot more competitive than what ESB makes it out to be. Martinez was only back in control when Pavlik got cut.

He def would've beat pwill, and i said this a year or so ago when kelly had
that infection, but maravilla is another story. I think that alot of frenetic movement gives pavlik a headache. Which is why i laughed so hard when
these idiots said kelly would beat joe calz. Maravilla is a smaller version
of joe, but with better power.

 

Martinez would always beat Pavlik, but Pavlik would always beat Williams, styles make fights.

Calzaghe would have dominated Pavlik. Too bad he didnt have the balls to fight Pavlik when Kelly kept calling him out. Had Joe showed the blueprint instead of Hopkins, history might be a little kinder to him.

Well I do not get into excuses. I see them fight in the ring and if they lose they lost. He could not deal with movement. If he drank I am not sure . That is none of my business, I just watch the boxing and he lost fights were he was controlled and the tempo was controlled.

 

Pavlik in Jack Daniels's would propably still stop Brave Williams..

Only Williams. Alcohol doesnt make you flat footed and unable to box laterally.

 

the kelly pavlik that ran through zuniga, mckart, zertuch, miranda and taylor would club williams like a baby seal. kelly would take his shots for sure but under no circumstance could williams take that right hand repeatedly.

i'm not so sure about martinez. i'd like to sit here and tell you that version of kelly would win. but i can't. i wouldnt rule it out but i can't say he would w/ any certainty either.

it's killing me that he can't pull it together and get on track.
