Hi I am new to this forum and would like to hear everyone's advice for me.

    I am 18 , around 5ft9 and walk around at about 60-61kg

I have been training for years (since 13 or 14 years of age)

The funny thing is I have never had a amateur fight, I get the problem that I don't feel ready.

After hours of strenuous training and hours of 1to1 commitment with my coach I still think that I am not ready to fight it is really strange.

I have sparred a lot of rounds in my time(had a hard time aswell not all easy), ran loads of miles and have been in top shape.

I want to start fighting and get to fight weight(prefferbly 59kg or less if poss) I feel that I am more mentally stronger now because I am older and more knowledge.

Also when someone says they want to fight me (out of ring)I go really weird and think I am going to lose straight away and heart beat's fast and i Shake

Is this normal for someone who has never had a fight and has no experience to it?

Is open to hear from everyones advice

    Thanks for your time

    Speak soon

    Chee

Lack of confidence, many people are bothered by it. I personally think you should just get the first fight out of the way. The guy you're facing isn't superman, you'll be fine.

I agree with RDJ. If anything you will have an advantage over someone else in their first fight, chances are that h will not have been boxing as long as you. There is a chance you just don't have the mental side needed for the sport, but maybe a good talk with your trainer will unlock it.

Right now you have two choices.

    1) Don't fight, and constantly be bothered by what could be. Suffer the pain of regret and uncertainty.
    2) Fight. Suffer the pain of nerves, fear, punches and possibly defeat.

There is no reward in option one, just pain. Option two may well be the greatest thing you have ever experienced, even if you lose.

Man just go for it, if you're commited you should be fine. Don't be one of these would've, could've, should've guys. It takes alot of guts to get in the ring, a great experience.

win or lose i love boxing. If you've been doing it for so long I'd imagine you'll love it to. Am Boxing is all about having a good time, competing and being in shape. Its not so serious.
