we dont care obviously...but if it was taking money out of ur pocket you'd care...regular guys like us 55, 50, 45% doesnt matter, but once ur making millions, we are talking about percentages being worth millions.
the fighters obviously do. its they're lively hood they're putting on the line here. losing might mean not getting paid as much in they're next fight, so they're trying to make as much as they can on this one fight. n from 50/50 to 60/40 is a lot of money for a fight this big. your not the one fighting so of course u don't care. but this could be the last fight for both of them so why not get paid n get out.
I dont give one **** about money,split, ppv, options, bull**** alphabet titles, fake title belts (ring/diamond), catchweights.
Boxing is a business. We as fans don't really care on the whole, but we know it effects if a fight gets made, which is why it's a point of discussion. I know we wish the boxing biz can take a backseat to the sport itself, but we dont live in that world. :-(
They both lose more money if either one pulls an ego trip and not accept 50/50. And no doubt, they both are gonna care when they end up getting nothing by not fighting. And whomever demands the lion share without budging. the primadonna, is gonna care more when he faces the public backlash.
