    Of all time?

I've seen him described as a cruiser Earnie Shaver's... And christ, did he seem to be one.

The way a out of shape drug addict Cooper damn near stopped Holyfield was intense.

    Thoughts?

If by "Cruiser" you mean anyone who fought between 175 and 200 pounds, then no. You'd have to stack him up with guys like Marciano and Dempsey. If we're only talking since the inception of the cruiserweight division, then Cooper is up there, although guys like Herbie Hide, Darnell Wilson and David Haye seem to throw some pretty murderous stuff.

It hink it was an article from doghouse boxing with oliver mccall, he stated that the hardest punch he ever felt and only time he was ever hurt was from a bert cooper left hook, cooper deserves a title belt for that!

  11. Boxinginsider.com: You are renowned for being able to take a big punch. Who was the hardest puncher you faced?

Oliver McCall: “Bert Cooper. Left hook. That was the hardest punch that I ever felt and that I had to overcome. It felt like a truck had hit me. I never got hit by a truck but it felt like if a truck would have hit me.”

Boxinginsider.com: Who else was up there? Lennox?

Oliver McCall: “No, Lennox wasn’t one of the hardest punchers that I – Buster Douglas hit me harder than Lennox did. Right hand.”

Boxinginsider.com: How about Tyson? He has to be up there?

Oliver McCall: “Tyson’s right there too. Lennox would probably be about fifth.”

I was going to throw him a mention if noone else did, so long as we're talking raw power and throwing skills completely out of the equation.
