He's not prime, I agree. But he has more than enough left to beat Clottey.

Mosley is a has been. Clottey, while solid, is a never was.

    I'll take the has been!

You mean the same Cotto Floyd didn't wanna fight or the little phillipino that he keeps saying is roids so he won't fight him either. Maybe it's because he's afraid he might lose.:think

He loss to best fighters, he would fight to draw with some ****ing bum ass contender like mora. Now if Clottey was losing to b-class fighters than you'd have a point.

Thats a bad comparison, for 2 reasons:

    1) Hearns got brutally stopped!
    2) Cotto should NEVER be compared to Hearns. NEVER!!!

I'm not comparing him to hearns, i'm comparing role reversals in the fights, maybe you should read.

I never saw Cotto calling out PBF. When they were both at 140, Floyd told Arum he would fight Cotto, but Arum said no!

    Anyone can play your game:

    PBF

Mosley - coming off of a loss to Cotto and a win over "disgraced former titlist Margo."

Marquez - forced to come up to new weight class way above his normal weight.

Hatton - forced to come up to 147 where he struggled against Collazo 3 fights prior.

    Pacs last 3 -

Margo - 3 time WW world champion, lost his #1 WW ranking to Mosley.

Cotto: former 140lbs world champ, 147 lb titilist, his only loss to the former #1 ranked WW (Margo).

Clottey - tough former IBF 147lb world champ, only losses to lineal 147lbs champ (Baldomir), #1 ranked WW (Margo) and former 140lbs and 147lbs champ (Cotto).

Dude, that fight was back and forth all the way through. It was Mosley who took the last 2-3 rds, even the announcers said this.

Well that c-class fighter was the most avioded fighter in the division and was a former champion. He's not no c-class fighter. Cause if that's the case than Mosely beat a c-class fighter and shouldn't get any credit for it nor should anyone else who beat him, and that includes williams too.

Funny how you respond to mine, but the posts who show Pac's choices as being better you say nothing to:D

Is this even a question? Floyd has fought 2 bloated little men, and a 39 year old.

Mosley although he was ranked as the top contending welter, he clearly was not on fight night. When have you ever seen Mosley gassed out after 2 rounds?

JMM came up to 144 only to be cheated by another 2 lbs by Floyd. Hatton came up to 147, clearly slowing him down.

Say what you want about Pac's recent "catchweights"--All his opponents looked great minus DLH. Cotto said himself that the 145 weight made no difference in the fight.

And I don't get why the kiddies claim Margarito was weight drained. FFS he's a career 147er, so meeting at 151 was even more to his advantage. If AM was 147 that night like he had been his career, I am pretty sure he woulda got KTFO. First the fight was fixed, then when he clearly was fighting, now the excuse is he was weight drained. Goodness.....

Making a bigger man come down TWO pounds at most, is not as bad as making a little man come up 7 to 10 lbs and then even coming in heavier than the contracted weight.

Yea he wanted to fight him when he was green, but when Cotto finally beat a good fighter in mosley he retires, and you know he did it to avoid that fight, cause he doesn't wanna take a risk.
