Yeah. I prefer it when people just bad mouth other boxers instead of fighting. That's far more entertaining

Maybe you will but the vast majority of fans (both casual and hardcore) will continue to buy and support the PPV events thats why he keeps making them.

If the event is a good one, it's fine, but lately it's been getting a bit ridiculous. Margo nor Clottey deserved a Pac fight and Cotto vs. Chavez Jr. is another fight that ver few want to see.

Arum is just a greedy jerk, and wants to ice GBP out of as many big fights as he can.

Not really, it happens like this all the time.
Every couple years or so one Promo hits the P4P lotto and has all the clout.

Nodoby was complaining when King had Showtime on lock ...
How 'bout the 90's/2000's Golden Boy was running ****... ect.

Bob has the horses that make money right now.

Yet Marg-Pac did 1.15 Million PPV and Cotto-Chavez Jr would do decent PPV numbers. I'm not defending Arum, but from a business standpoint you cant blame him. GBP would do the same if they had the chance.

Very tired of it and I feel it is the cancer of boxing. As Arum's monopoly in boxing grew the sport started to die off in my opinion. Yeh there are 1 or 2 other bit part promoters but it stinks the way fans are left to fork out while the average joe moves over to UFC instead.

The only Arum vs Arum event I have not yet liked is the Clottey fight.

Other than that, no. He normally delivers. It's not like Arum didn't like the situation about sharing with GBP. They just had a fight because words were exchanged.

And mind you, Arum reaches out to other promoters not named GBP. If Shane Mosley didn't just get himself out of the GBP claws, the top candidates for Pac's next opponents (considering if THE fight doesn't come off) would not be Arum or GBP controlled at all.

True, GBP did Mayweather vs. Mosley, which did 1.4 million. But that was a viable fight at the time.

I dont see Cotto vs. Chavez doing over 500,000, but it will be mostly the mexican and PR fanbases ordering that for the rivalry. As far as the sport, and th best fighting the best, that fight means nothing.

That's why I'm saying you cant blame Arum from a business standpoint because the other promoters would've done the same if they had the opportunity.

But we are being denied fights due to bad blood between GBP and TR, and it's costing the fans.

While GBP is not clean in this, I think they would be willing to reach out to TR. But Arum is a really greedy, spiteful man, and he won't budge.
