I agree with you on this,Groves is the classier boxer and would win a rematch unless he trys to slug it with a slugger again imo

If you take out the fact Anderson is Scottish Rob you might be able to watch the fight and see what really happened:good

I think Booth's tactics were wrong for the Anderson fight.

Lets face it....you cannot make a fighter do something he's not bred to do in a championship fight. He's not natural to fighting off the ropes and using movement. To devise a plan like that with 2 weeks notice is utterly stupid IMO. They either overrate Groves boxing ability or they are just stupid!.

Groves looks good and fights well coming forward and being the aggresser against Abderson he couldn't do that, personally I think Anderson's style is a nightmare for Groves, they would have been better using Anderson for sparring regulary so Groves could try and learn how to deal with a fighter like that instead of making the fight, there is bad feeling between them now so that's not going to happen.

I'm not really feeling this rivalry..

I don't think it will cause shockwaves, like all the other past domestic rivalries.

It was tactical and technical flaw imo, as Groves is not good enough defensively, to be letting his opponent back him up near the ropes and avoid contact by using his defense, rolling and slipping.

Groves is a good/decent offensive fighter, but he does not have a good defense, and if he was a smart fighter, his defense wouldn't be that leaky, cause he would be more selective about the chances/decision he makes, which leaves him open to! attacks, counters, which is why I dont think he will beat De Gale, he's not fundamentally sound enough imo. In the amateur fight they had, which was very close, he seemed to outhussle De Gale, but that is not going to play out in the pro's imo, as Groves wont be rewarded for his willing, ineffective aggression, and he wont be able to sustain the same pace over a longer period imo.

He didn't take him apart physically..? Groves was the only guy visibly hurt in the fight, and he ran for 12 rounds.

Groves still aint got good footwork imo.

I still think Groves might of got trapped if De Gale would of been adequately prepared mentally, instead of underestimating Groves.

That fight was close, some believing De Gale did enough, who's to say a more focused De Gale doesn't make it more decisive, particularly if he starts faster, instead of going into the fight thinking he can turn it on as and when he feels like it? If De Gale put slightly more pressure on Groves, was cutting the ring down, Groves WOULD of got trapped imo.

Groves fought a great fighter, but he was aided by De Gale's underestimating him to, and it was still! a close fight. That says it all for me, Groves at his best, De Gale under par, and it was still that close, some thinking De Gale won?

I had already, before the fight, predicted the style that would beat De Gale, just didn't think Groves was the man to execute it, due to his footwork.

Take Amir Khan, he has poor footwork imo, but if you dont press him enough, or cut off his exits, it wont appear as exploitable, but you put pressure on like Maidana did, and becomes it blatantly apparent, so you can watch Khan against Kotelnik, and he can appear to have good to decent footwork, as he managed to offset him most the fight, but did you see how poor Khan's footwork looked down the stretch of that fight, when Kotlnik applied more pressure cause he knew he was way behind? his footwork looked poor.

I know you're mentally ill, but you also see things. Degale only had success with the head. Fact. That was the only time he hurt groves.

Second - he didn't run, he boxed. Hence why he out landed chunky.

Third - you're a ****ing idiot. Always have been.

    lol Fair Play.

I can only really ever remember Rob Palmer agreeing with me that Groves would win this one. Though I know others picked him.

Sorry mate, nonsense. We have no evidence degale was under par. He didn't start slow. He just couldn't figure groves out.

I never get why people rate him so highly. He's nothing special in the slightest.

He flurried but rarely landed, he couldn't get consistent offence going and he looked bamboozled throughout. He's not as good as people thought.

Groves is better. Simple as that. The excuses need to stop.
