Good point. I'm a big fan of Willie but he's a ways off fighting Rigo. I'd like to see him build up and actually be in with a real shot when it comes to world title bids rather than just throw him in and take a gamble

    Two Jabs off the Hook,

Yes, I met Irish Jerry Quarry back in 1970.
He came up to Putnam Counrty Club, Mahopac New York right after his big 'Knock-out win over #1 Rated Mac Foster at Madison Square Garden, NYC.

He wasn't as big as you might expect. 6' 0" and 200 lbs.
He was really a gentleman, a class guy.

Whilst i agree the Frampton appreciation club does go into over drive here on occasion they are not the only ones who are prone to overexaggeration,Kevin hammond and Firtz a good scrap. This guy has lost his last four 2 against Martin Concepion(no disgrace there) but his most recent against a guy that was 4-1 and last week a guy that was 1-8.Cmon now Dornal dont be blowing the smoke.
On the topic of Willie does this mean he will be out December in Dublin,January in Cork and March time against Kiko? This would be great and i for one would try make all three, are you guys considering Kiko style opponents for these fights.

people are talking about casey fighting the cuban rigondeux? thats ridiculous if you ask me, he would stop him easy enough. he would need another 5 good euro leve / fringe world level fights before fighting anyone in that class

I think Casey's development is on the right track, and we have a potentially an outstanding match-up between him and Kiko on the horizon. No point in jumping straight to Rigo at the moment.

Couple of easy fights, and then KiKo is the perfect next step for him. If he gets past Kiko, then who knows; maybe he'll get a big offer to defend against Munroe or one of the other British lads. Maybe another all-Ireland clash with Carlos. But one step at a time sure, there's no rush.
