Perhaps you're right. But if Benji's shoulders holds up, Rube has got some hot company.

Worse thing about it is that he played rep football for Australia (Aust schoolboys as well as Touch) & I doubt he has lived outside of Oz since he was 16.

    That might keep Ruben safe.:hey

Ruben maybe but there is no doubt Benji is going to pass him very soon.

I still cant believe Bunj is only 25, this guy is going to go down as one of the greats of the game if he keeps improving.

I wonder who'd commentate the footy if it went to 10 or 7 ?

If it was on 10 it'd probably be some motorsport bloke, the guy who they got to do those boxing cards last year on oneHD.

I hope it stays on 9, though i'm not a fan of Voss and he's obviously gonna take over from Rabs when he calls it a day.

makes sense central coast is a rugby league heartland.
Melbourne despite success hardly get massive crowds for
a 1 team town.and their popularity will plummet now they are'nt rorting the cap and wont be as successful.i normally would say get rid of the Sharkies but they amuse me so i want to see them stay.:D

I really hope Inglis doesnt go to French Union but I think it looks likely. Where else in the NRL can he go?

It was reported on abc radio this arvo aswell apparently. Shane Richarson should of kept his mouth shut a few months ago with the "souths have no more room under the cap."

Sharks could afford him surely :D

Back then there probably wasnt much room under the cap.

    Since then...
    * Colin Best has turned down an offer and signed elsewhere
    * J Lowe has gone to the Storm
    * Capewell has gone to the Titans
    * Wesser has re signed on a reduced contract
*There has been a cap increase of around 100K

From what we've heard, theres around 190K left in the cap, and this will go to Greg next year followed by a heap of third party deals to top it up.
The deal would be heavily back ended in the coming seasons.

I'm pretty sure the deal will go ahead. The NRL and Schubert are just making sure that all the i's are dotted and t's crossed.

I'm expecting him to start pretty low though as he's coming off a heap of injuries. Plus, he looks like Doughboy from Boyz N the Hood. He's ballooned out to 118kg FFS.

When the deal eventually goes through, the trainers better tear him a new arsehole.
