how would you see a Froch-Pascal rematch going at 175 now.

Froch has lost his unbeaten record against Kessler but still is effectively a top SMW contender with wins over Taylor and Direll.

Pascals stock has since risen tenfold with a victory over Dawson and two over Diaconu (or whatever way its spelt) and takes on BHop next.

How do you feel the bout would go now, would Froch adapt to the higher weight (hes a big SMW), how much has Pascal improved, how much has several big bouts in a row took out of Froch.

I'd go with Pascal, proven at the weight and seems to have improved more than Froch in the time since their first fight.

I dont think Pascal would go looking for a war in a rematch, he'd use his head and box clever and win by close UD. I hope im wrong as Im a big Froch fan but I think Pascal takes Froch in a rematch as hes come on leaps and bounds whilst Froch has been in some slugfests.

I would have to pick Pascal. Everybody knows that Froch has been completely exposed by an over the hill Kessler (who's rubbish and been exposed himself).

We all know Froch can't box, he lost every single round (possibly more) against Taylor before landing the luckiest punch ever (followed by a whole load of additional lucky punches).

Come to think of it, I don't think Froch deserved the decision against Pascal 1st time round. Froch was very lucky that night.

I'd have to take Pascal, he seems to have more varied style than Froch.

If Pascal insists on brawling then he's pretty much made his bed and when it comes bedtime he shouldn't complain but just sleep in it.

I'd go for Pascal, he's improved since the Froch fight, and i think the weight suits him better than it would Froch.

I seem to remember, when Froch boxed a bit more in the 1st fight, those were the rounds he put away.

Froch should box him more than in the first fight, her has a massive reach advantage, can't believe the LHW champ has a 67" reach.

alot of people say froch is good at long range like he is tommy hearns. his jab is sloppy as ****. he can't even shadow box it correctly. he has potential when at range but it is mainly to do with him needing space to make his sloppy work look clean and effective.

    Not a Froch fan eh?

He was completely exposed by Kessler who's now also been 'exposed' apparently because he's lost a couple of fights to other top class boxers? :huh

He didn't lose every single round against Taylor? Luckiest punch ever? The first knockdown punch was the result of 2 minutes of chasing a tired Jermain Taylor around the ring and he applied relentless pressure to get the stoppage.

Now you're just making up that he was lucky against Pascal. Even Jean Pascal has admitted he lost that fight.

Geez give Froch some credit FFS, he's hardly a bum!

As for the actual thread. I agree with others that Pascal would probably win a rematch now at 175. I think a lot of it again though would depend on where the fight was held. No way do I think Froch could beat him in Canada but if it was other here again I'd probably just about fancy Froch.

I think Pascal takes it, he's a class act now, and i think his movement and in and out style would be too much for Froch, he's not gonna wanna just go toe to toe with him, the way he dismantled a solid pressure fighter in the Diaconu was exceptional. but its a fight i'd pay big money to see, cos the first one was a barnstormer, which I personally had for Pascal, as i thought he landed the better punches, but couldnt fault Froch winning the fight, even by a couple of rounds, cos the rounds really were that close. However 4 round, 6 rounds, and the ridiculous 118-110? and then we have the nerve to criticise judging in other countries?

However, Lets hope the fights not in Nottingham,
