I am and always have been on the fence with Froch.

I was guardedly intrigued when he was smashing his way through Rybacki types.

I think I initially backed him against Pascal (but later became more of a fan of Jean's).

I pulled for him against Taylor but would probably pull for Jermain in a rematch (not that one should ever happen, knock on wood).

I pulled for him against Dirrell and would do so again in a rematch after the tournament.

I was definitely hoping he'd lose to Kessler and would obviously want a repeat result if they did it again.

Right now, I'm against him either way in any of the possible match-ups remaining in the Super Six (preferring to root for Abraham, or Johnson, or Ward over him).

He is, but he's also a bit of a cocky ***** and there are other boxers whose styles I like better.

I'm surprised by all of the Froch responses. The guy runs his mouth to much for my liking, but I do admire that he will take on anyone. I did'nt like Gamboa at first because he keeps his hands low and gets dropped a lot, but his style is very exciting and I found myself cheering for him.

Weird. Someone getting dropped a lot (especially early in a career) makes you hesitant to cheer for them? For me, that's something that strengthens my resolve to cheer for someone...specifically, someone getting dropped a lot and climbing up to come back and win.

Id love to name some fighters here but I cant really think of any that fit the criteria. Fighters that I didnt much care for that kinda won me over so to speak. Maybe Tito? But its not so much I like tito or am a fan as much as I just miss him in boxing.

Hmmm.... seriously, cant think of one. I would actually say the closest one would probably be Pac.... I always respected him and watched with excitement, but never really considered myself a -true- fan. After his last few fights though, I have to admit the guy is one of my favorites. There is literally nothing to not like about him IMO. The Margarito fight sealed the deal, when hes standing there banging his gloves together and brawling with a guy 20lbs heavier then him. Pure warrior.

In 2006 I was 100% behind Bronco McKart and his come back effort. I tuned in to watch him give Pavlik a boxing lesson. **** didn't go exactly the way I hoped it would, but I did become a Pavlik fan that night.

Another for Froch. Never thought he'd make it this far & he's proven me wrong.

i am surprised at all the froch votes tbh, if anything i thought it would be the opposite, people being a fan of his then turning away when he got cocky and lost.

another one of mine ya know is nate campbell.

anyone who saw him vs pedan would have thought what a *****. first he hangs his chin out to dry until he gets knocked out, and then he doesnt train for a rematch because he thinks he is so good. but seeing him vs diaz who was an absolutely huge favourite, and beating him at his own game, hard not to respect the guy. even with his shortcomings since, he still gave funeka a fight even though his belts had been stripped, he wen up to fight bradley and rightfully got the correct call in the end, and even after how bad he looked in that non-contest, he then went and fought ortiz.

Cotto. Hated his boring personality, never smiling, never interesting. Then in fights he would get frustrated and flip fighters, go low, just seem like a general jerk.

I started to like him around the Judah fight, and even though I didn't dig what the Mosley fight looked like I could appreciate him. I was so happy when Margarito beat him, and then all the controversy made me feel bad for him, hanging tough with head butts and what not, I guess he is not such a bad guy. Then seeing pricks inside the Margarito camp made me want to go back in time and change the outcome of their fight.
