Big Collins fan. Roy Jones was p4p king at the time and its hard to justify how Collins would have beat him but it was the fight we dared to dream.

His argument seems to be founded on the assertion that Reggie Johnson was "a southpaw Roy Jones".

    Absolutely bat-**** crazy.

There's no way Collins would have beaten Roy - not a ****ing chance.

While collins was teak tough, had good dig and was in all right a pretty
complete fighter. We're talking about a prime roy jones who defied the norm. You HAVE to like RJJ over collins. Hell, i beleive a prime calzaghe beats a prime collins, and roy beats them both. Roy was unbeatable at
    168.

He could try and cheat like Danny Green did, and throw rabid punches.

Imagine how high Collins would've been rated if he'd beaten Jones Jr.

That's some of the craziest **** said by Roach...

Obviously anything can happen in boxing but Steve Collins didn't have anywhere near the necessary speed or reflexes to beat a young version of Roy Jones...

...and Reggie Johnson a Southpaw Roy Jones ???? :blood:secret:rofl

    Freddie's losing it...

You have to fancy Roy of course but Collins is very underrated and HAD pretty fast hands in addition to a decent jab, great stamina and work-rate, top punch resistance, enough power and supreme will to make him a match foe most any middle/super-middle but Jones was all wrong for him.
