Froch deserves more exposure, Sky could make him a household name if they promoted the **** out of him. Its a shame that he's fought the best of all the Brits out there atm but is the least recognisable to the average person. Can't see Sky picking him up though, its too late in his career for them to try and start from scratch by building him up into a known fighter. And its not like he'd be inclined to hype himself up by appearing on any show that'll have him like Haye does

Been a long time since a fighter winning made me so happy - but Martinez and Froch in the last two weeks has made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Froch needs to leave Hennessey! Two weeks ago, Audrey Fraudley Harrison was a PPV attraction. How the fcuk is Carl Froch not worth of being on SKY? Its ridiculous.

Froch has faced top competition. Pascal, Taylor, Kessler, Abraham, etc. Froch is 33 & I know he keeps himself in good shape all year round, but he needs to be with someone like GB now!

There is no way Carl Froch will leave Mick Hennessy. Why should he?

Hennessy has delivered the big title shots and also the big pay days.

The only thing that hasnt happened is the "fame", but as someone has already mentioned earlier in this thread, what Carl Froch will have is a real legacy of fighting the very best fighters on a consistent basis, there are not many fighters in world boxing who can state that.

The Daily Mail said he was picking up £750,000 for last night's work.

I can't see Carl being in too many more wars though, as he ages he's going to try and use his boxing skills. Good for him but we won't be seeing anymore Pascal like tear ups, which is what makes him a potentially great TV attraction (even that fight wasn't enough to get ITV and others on board).

His next two opponents aren't showbiz, and Ward particularly will most likely be an awful fight to watch. So overall, I think this boat has sailed and it will just be the hardcore that appreciate him.

A world class operator is Froch. The way he dealed with King Arthur is simple brilliant. At times he couldnt miss. Also if he wanted to and put his foot down he could of stopped him late in the fight.

Regarding Sky they ****ed up big time more so by not showing and getting the rights for the Super 6. IF Primetime got the rights it says it all it must have been as cheap as chips. They should of done a deal with the devil that is Mick Hennessey. It could of got them millions if they signed him up as soon as the Super 6 was made.

Now if Sky are to try and get him it will cost them millions. There is a simple way out of this with Hennessey give him X amount of Sky time for his other bills. Then hope to strike up a seperate deal with Froch. Have his next fight on normal Sky then look at the numbers then promote him to PPV if the numbers are good. Froch should be as well know as Khan and Haye to the casual fans.

I think the biggest factor in whether sky will show Froch's fight against Johnson is the location. People have said that both semis are in the US but i don't think thats a dead cert. If Froch v Johnson is in Nottingham i think sky will show it because it ill be at maybe 11 pm uk time. If its in the states it might be a hard sell because Froch isn't known that well enough for the casuals to watch him fight at 3am. Froch would be a heavy betting favourite to beat Johnson and sky know that so they could well take a punt on him and then really build him up for the final. Hopefully Hennessy shows a bit of sense at the negotiations. Like Smith said on his twitter page he is gonna try and do all he can to get him on sky and i think he is gonna make a compelling case to Barney Francis to get Froch on sky. Froch v Johnson, if he wins then the final, wins that then Bute which would be even bigger than the final. Makes sense for sky to get behind him.

do sky even have enough slots available to offer hennessey any kind of regular deal, which could be his demand for sky to show froch?

sky already have deals with warren, maloney, hearn and hatton.

Simple solution - stop doing deals with promoters :deal

Make them bid for TV dates on an individual basis...... that way we get the best fights, instead of just some of the best fighters.

Yes he deserves alot more exposure and its mad how he isnt the face of Sky or BBC or any other mainstream channel in terms of promoting sport. But hes building a boxing legacy one which no modern day British fighter can rival. Boxing fans, Nottingham Forrest faithful and other East Midlands residents, know about and appreciate how good he is. If the "general public" want to see David Haye fight a nobody on box office then so be it. The only thing Froch gets out of being more exposed on bigger channels is more money to which he said in a recent interview that he was more bothered about building a "legacy".

thats exactly the figure i thought £750, 000 in the super six title fight does not seem that much especially when berto made roughly the same against hernadez wtf
