    Will Tomlinson just faced his toughest test to date in Filipino Rey Labao. The fact Tomlinson cracked the tough nut Filo with every right hand he threw, hooked with great consitancy and worked his guts over 12 solid rounds, does not mean he'll be feeling refreshed in the morning.

    FFS. The Filo absorbed an absolute truck load of right leeds, as Tomlinson mastered the south paw, in a bout where he put all the hard work together and finally looked polished facing a lefty.

    Labao is one cagey bloke who gave as good as he possibly could against the busier Aussie star. Tomlinson copped plenty in the process of winning every round. His right eye swelled to almost closed by round 9, and Labao remained relentless in his effort to get some control. Wild Will finished strongly.

    What a brilliant display by Will.

    Sam Colomban copped a hammering enroute to being awarded a split decision against Kiwi belter Steve Heremaia. Tough one to call, but a rematch was called for by Heremaia. Forget it Sam. If ya bang ya toe with a hammer, ya don't bang it again to see if ya broke 4 toes!!!! Colomban got the decision. Move on to bigger things, such as a WBO eliminator.

    Sounds like Colomban got a hometown decision Bobby.:think
    Maybe he should stay away from any sort of WBO eliminator without 1st dominating the likes of Heremaia.

    Good on Will Tomlinson getting the hard earned victory.:deal

    Not quite a home town decision for Colomban Kegsy. Sam threw numbers, where as Heremaia landed bombs. Colomban edged the win, but I'd say he's lucky to have got away with it.

    Yep, good on Will. Rated WBO #10 before the bout, his victory now takes him to WBO #6. A shot at Scotlands Ricky Burns might not be too far away now. Burns defends on Dec 4th, then may find room for Will mid next year. Hopefully.

    Burns is the right champ for Will to take on IMO.
    130 is definitely 1 of the weaker divisions in boxing at the moment.

    It's just a matter of time Kegsy. Tomlinson is definately ready for Burns. Along with Wale Omotoso and Sam Colomban, Tomlinson is on the verge of bringing a World title home to sunny Victoria. Wale and Will are two stars in the making. Both man are going to shake things up next year.

    Wale won't shake things up, he'll shatter everything that stands in his way.

    Do you think he will shatter Ben Rabah Bobby? How do you see that fight going? Congrats to Wild Will a good prospect.

    :deal:deal this is a fight id love to see.... personally i both think there world class fighters should be in top 10 and they could potentially set it up as a world title fight down the track (no reason why it cant be for a vacant title... there seems to be plenty of those e.g. interim, silver, diamond)

    Harry, Ben Rabah is all class. This fight I'd love to see on Fox. Wale is still flying under the national fans radar. Why? He is simply not exposed enough via Fox. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

    A bout with Ben Rabah would be one of major interest. Honestly, I have never seen a banger like Wale. No disrespect to Ben Rabah, but he'd need everything to come together on the night in order to avoid a sleeping pill. NBR certainly has the skills to do so... but just one iddy-biddy teeny-weeny bomb will close the shop.

    Get on the blower to Murray mate, this fight's a great idea. East vs West.. lol

    First of all I better let everone know Willy is on crutches he has some rare infection or something they really dont know what it is . His knee is swallen has had operation now ankles swallon as well no one can say what it is ,all different opinions he has been like this since october its pretty ****ed. Ben Rabah will fight sunday night on C J undercard against a Phillo 20w 2L 12ko Choc is in the best shape of his career ,I would say right now boxing better than ever has. I saw Wale fight in Queensland and said straight away world champion this boy. But interesting Bobby didnt know he was a big banger new he was fast . Dont underestamate choc hes hungry and he is very very smart,we are talking with Murray but he has no Tv I think this fight is a special one and must be on Tv so we will c what we can do in new year.

    cheers for taking the time to reply, hopefully willy can get over this injury, very talented fighter thats still so young!
    Rabah is very talented, look what he done to Juan Urango (he was robbed 100 percent)
    if wale vs rabah happens and its not atleast on a fox card that would be fukn ropeable to say the least
