    erm no.

Just about any big game animal is stronger and can go for longer than most humans. It was intelligence and subsequently tools that helped humans hunt.

The reasons why according to USA Boxing are to differentiate between pro and amateurs, absorb sweat and dirt and provide something for gloves to be wiped on, and prevent abrasions and rope burns on the upper body.

Actually the guys in the World Series of Boxing right now are all boxing with no headgear or t-shirts as amateurs. Go check it out, pretty cool ****.

    :rofl

Did you even read the link? Its a link that redirects to actual heat related illnesses, such as heat stroke etc....there's no such illness as "heat illness"

    :hi:

Humans outrunning prey was a common hunting method and is still used by some cultures.

It's a really weird concept, and I bet if an American wins the Championship and gets the automatic spot at the Olympics that comes with it you're going to see lawsuits from the other boxers in that weight class in the US against USA Boxing since they didn't even have a chance at competing for it at the Olympic Trials. Still a cool idea though.
