I thought Irleis beat Camacho after cornering and buckling Hector early with a body attack and sending him into defensive mode. (All Camacho did after that was pepper in a few jabs, then dash in to clinch, repeatedly. As fast as Hector was at his peak, Cubanito exposed him as somebody who had problems with superior size and strength.)

Perez did not fall short of the mark by self destructing, or inadequate training. He did nothing wrong. He was cursed with crippling allergies, the kind of allergies known to frequently sideline professional athletes afflicted with such ailments. At least asthmatics have had effective treatments available to them for decades. Cubanito didn't, a truly frustrating and infuriating situation.

Howard Davis - Had Rosario beaten, but thought he was behind and went after Edwlin in the last round and suffered a flash knockdown and lost a split decision.
Victor Polo - drew with Scott Harrison in Glasgow and lost to Julio Pablo Chacon when, according to Boxrec.com, Polo "slipped on a towel on the ring apron in the 9th which was ruled a knockdown costing him the fight."

A good while back, there was a thread where viewers compared their scores of Escalera-Everett. I scored off the footage with a deliberate bias in favor of The Snake Man, then added on every single round any contributor aside from myself gave to Escalera. Combining all poster scores offered to skew it his way, this is as close as I was able to get:

On my personal card, I gave Escalera credit for a hard charging and aggressive close through the championship rounds, and still had Everett winning 145-142. A round or two that I scored even was given to Escalera by others, and I think I had Everett winning a round which somebody else gave to Escalera. In compiling the card submitted here, I awarded all those rounds additionally to Escalera.
