I remember about a decade ago Mike Tyson went to the U.K to get away from the negatives (Julius Francis fight). I heard Floyd is huge there (both pro and con). So my question is can this fight sell and be a success in the U.K. Since Matthew Hatton the younger brother of Ricky Hatton is the British and European champ and is popular there as well? This can be a tune -up fight for Floyd. I know there are alot of posters from the U.K on this site, so give me your insight. Again, I said this is can/might be a tune-up fight for Floyd oversees!

It would sell as a Floyd Mayweather thing but no one cares about Matthew Hatton.

    stupid fight.
we all know who would win, matty is very useful at domestic and european level, but is nowhere near the calibre of ricky, PBF would annihilate him

Hatton is only euro champ, never fought for lonsdale. Probably most fortunate fighter in Britain, his bro is involved in every fight one way or the other. Should fight Brook to see who is best domestic!

Mayweather would sell out the fight over here. No-one cares about Matty.

Nothing like Floyd v R Hatton. It would get attention from hardcore boxing fans but not the mainstream public. R Hatton had a massive following, M Hatton does not.

It would sell out a 20,000 venue like to O2 in London purely because there are 20k brit boxing fans willing to see Mayweather live....and also to see M Hatton take a beatdown

Hatton's team will not let him get an almighty beating, doesnt do anything for money.

    It wont happen full stop.

It would sell out any stadium in Britain...it wouldn't do well on PPV though, I don't believe.

If you're going to have him fight in UK have him fight Khan. Might be interesting, actually.
