"Pac vs JMM 3 at Dallas stadium does almost twice the numbers that Pac vs Clottey did, no question, which even after GBP getting their cut, would not be as big a loss for Arum as one thinks. "

    - Is this a fact or a projection?

"Also smart one, the other name on Arums list is Berto. Berto draws WORSE then JMM, and has a history of outpricing himself.... do the math on that one."

    - Nobody gives a **** about Berto. Not even Arum. Stupid of you to think that Arum actually considers BErto:yep

If it's not JMM, and it's not Berto because they both can't sell, then the only one that really matters business-wise right now is Mosley.

And Roach is right, that fight sucks. I agree with Roach. Manny needs to finally end JMM's career and shut him up for good this time. But the problem is that Marquez is asking for more money than he got for Mayweather, and he already got more money guaranteed than whatever Margarito got for fighting Pacquiao.

But then people will say Manny ducked an African American or the Middleweight champion of the world if he fights JMM. But if he fights the African Americans, he's too old, or he's too inexperienced and can't sell anything even in his hometown. If he fights Martinez, people will say he drained Martinez to 154. Bradley and Alexander won't be ready until the second half of the next year. Amir Khan would never fight Manny even if he wins convincingly against Maidana.

Manny doesn't really have a way out of this.

    Debate?

Here is 'PeteDawg' (possibly the gayest name on ESB) debating

    ---
JMM acting like a *****, maybe dont get knocked down.... *posts picture of legless man* *Calls someone who doesnt even like Marquez, a JMM fan* *Makes Mayweather remark every other sentence*
    --

That aint debating, pig, its just being one of the dime a dozen worthless posters on the site and people in the world.

Just garbage, from garbage. Nothing more, nothing less. Pretty simple.

Quickly now, go make another Mayweather thread.... we dont have enough of them already.

One minute we want to use Arum as a source (JMM pricing himself out), the next minute we want to disregard what he says (That Berto is being considered), ah... I see. Personally I dont put much stock into what Arum says..... the whole situation is bull****, but one thing I do know is the sooner this old man leaves boxing the better off it will be.

Hahaha...you sound so bitter... Maybe if you'd make a ****ing point a debate could happen? But I know your debating style once you've got nothing to say you complain about the opponent... sort of like a 6 year old crying that they didn't get their way. LOL!!! What ***** you are... just an observation. :smoke

Here's proof for anyone who thinks emmanuel doesn't pick who he fights:

"I will have all three proposals and I will sit with Manny in the Philippines when I'm there for his birthday and let him decide who he wants to fight," Arum told ESPN.com. "We'll go over everything because each fight has a different set of financial parameters. It's Manny's career, it's his life and he'll decide. Will I make a recommendation? Sure, but all it will be is a recommendation, and Freddie will have some input. I certainly don't act as a dictator."

That's the point. Haters will forever find reasons to discredit pac.

If he fights Marquez at 140 or above, and beat the **** out of him they'll say: pac waited for Marquez to grow old; pac should have fought marquez at 135 and all that; Pac avoided African American fighters; Marquez didn't drink enough urine, and so forth

If he fights Mosley, and wins: Mosley is a fighting grandpa; Mosley is not a slick African American fighter; Mosley was softened by FLoyd and all that ****; Mosley is over the hill

If he fights Berto and wins: Berto?; Berto is not African American, he's from Haiti or whatever; he hasn't proven himself worthy; he lacks skills and the countless excuses left and right.

So I said If I was Arum and I know for a fact that I can't please everybody, I'll stick to my number one priority which is to make the most money out of Pac's remaining three or four fights in his career.

Ultimately, I see pac's career winding down with fights against Bradley, or Alexander, or even Khan.

FAIL. JMM pricing himself out is FACT and a public knowledge. He did that in the first quarter of 2010 after the Pac-Floyd failed nego. Arum may be the least trustworthy person in the sport but if what he says can be easily established by outside credible sources, I really don't think we shouldn't believe him when he says that the sky is blue and the grass is green

    :huh

I got it YOU LOST. You absolutely have no compelling reasons why Marquez should get what Schaefer has demanded. This is actually getting kind of embarrassing for YOU..., but keep going I don't mind making fun of you...:deal

Well, you know how a few posts back, you called me a JMM fan, when reality is I dont even like JMM?

Here again, I never said Marquez SHOULD GET what Schaefer 'has demanded' (which is what? Arum says some roundabout bull**** and dances around figures and all of a sudden you 'know' what Schaefer 'has DEMANDED'??? Calm down killer.

    What I HAVE said, is
    - I dont see the huge problem with JMM getting close to 4 when Marg got 6, all things considered.

    but I also said

    - This is negotiations, it is common place for them to send a high offer.
    - JMM should take what he can get
    - JMM should probably get around 2.5 million when its all said and done.

While I dont see why it should be a deal breaker with JMM asking that price, I think he should be happy with what he can get at this point, and that there is likewise nothing wrong with him getting around 2 to 3 mill, and at the end of the day, JMM should just take the fight, and be happy with what he gets.

But I dont expect you to comprehend a damn thing lil man so dont worry

Maybe my stupidity just 'knows know bounds' eh? lol...

WTF is wrong with you? Of course Manny always picks his next fights! He's always been given a selection of possible opponents and chooses based on, as what Arum said: "We'll go over everything because each fight has a different set of financial parameters. It's Manny's career, it's his life and he'll decide. Will I make a recommendation? Sure, but all it will be is a recommendation, and Freddie will have some input. I certainly don't act as a dictator."
