Unbelieveable how this guy is single handedly destroying boxing. Say he wants to maximize their purse potential. Lawd, help me. :scaredas:

If I was in his shoes, I'd do a similar thing.

Yeah they aren't ready yet. They need to clean out the rest of the division first starting with Chris John.

They are both young and not at their primes yet... Letting a fight simmer will only make it bigger.

This is much different than Pac May getting put off as they both age away from their primes.

Why is he still such a greedy ****. He's rich, and he's almost dead. You would think he would want to see some good fights now.

Who else is there to clean out? I would make Lopez-Rojas, Gamboa-John, the winners on the same card perhaps in an other tune-up and then late 2011 PPV against each other.

They wont sell better a year later. Perhaps Arum will say in 2012 the same **** once again. Some other guy in the division hopefully screws his plans up, John and Rojas both have a fair chance to do so.

Really disappointed when I read about this - JuanMa-Gamboa was top of my 2011 wishlist.

The only positive from this is that they have to put both guys in with the other top fighters at 126 in order to make the fight more marketable. John-Gamboa is a good starting point and with Marquez, Hasegawa,(dare I mention his name ...) Caballero, Gonzalez and others all at 126, we should get a few terrific fights.

It will be a good day for boxing when this man dies.

You would think at his age, he would want to be remembered for making some classic fights (he has a legacy as a promoter also). It's not like he needs the money, he is ****ing loaded.
