Vic Darchinyan vs Abner Mares

It's a 50/50 imo. My cheers are going to Mares corner though.

 

I'm going with Mares. He really showed me something against Perez, a fight I expected him to lose. Not only does he have the skill but he came on strong in the championship rounds, when I expected Perez' pressure to catch up with him, and closed the fight like a real champion.

I think Vic is on the way down and don't think he'll be able to cope with Mares' skills at this point. I say Abner wins a decision, which is ugly at times thanks to Darchinyans awkward style.

 

Close to being the last roll of the dice for Darchinyan.

I think Vic would have learnt a lot from the Agbeko fight, and will come in stronger as his body now has had enough time to grow into the extra weight. Don't expect Vic to return to that guns-all-blazing style, certainly not at this weight so we'll see an aggresive - but controlled and smart aggressive - style fight.

I'm thinking Vic will get a very late stoppage, or will end the fight strong and win on points.

Dunno... really 50/50, option should have been in the poll. Think a lot of fans would have picked that.

I'm going for Vic "tim" Darchinyan, just because he has more experience.

 

I'm rooting for Evil Vic, but Mares will take him.

I think that was one of the problems with the super 6 marketability - There really isn't anyone to hate as a villain.

Sure we now have Dirrell, but that's all for the wrong reasons.

I think Mares wins surprisingly easily.

 

One is on the rise, the other on the decline.
