:hatFormer Barrera's cutman Tony Rivera is not happy about referee stopping Maruez Katsidis fight. What do you think?[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcnYIiqUVvw[/ame]

i think Bayless could have let it go a little longer personally but its not like it was scandalous.

No. Katsidis was knocked onto the back foot and Marquez wasn't missing with ANYTHING. All the ref did was stop Kats from taking another 20 flush shots to the brain. He fought his heart out, gave it everything - but it wasn't enough and Marquez got the better of him. No shame in that

I thought the stoppage was fair.

Katsidis was taking a lot of answered shots, when I say shots, I'm talking accurate one's as well, and he was hurt at the start of the barrage as well.

I want to see Katsidis fight again, not get ****ed up like Margarito did.

It was stopped too soon if you were trying to reunite Katsidis with his brother. I like Katisidis and want to see him fight again.

No, Kats was starting to take good hard connects without answering back.

I think the feeling it was stopped to soon, comes from the fans who were so enthralled by the fight they wanted to see more.

I at the time thought it was stopped abit early also as it was such a quality fight i didn't want it to end, but in hindsight i believe the stoppage was fair. As others have pointed out, he was eating hard accurate shots without answering back.

yeah it was far from a contreversial stoppage. It wasnt like hed not taken a beating before that point. Refs 1st priority is the health of the boxers. Cant blame him for jumping in.

It wasn't a good stoppage, but it also was not a bad one.

Yes, he still had a punchers chance, he was stunned by a shot early in that round, i thought maybe if he road it out, he could get a better legs between rounds, an look to land a one nice punch, which he did do through out the fight. But i wouldn't complain of the stoppages, just got to believe this guy was a puncher, so he desereved that chance
