I think it's a decent fight. In the air there're talks Adamek may get an eliminator fight, possibly in Poland so European opponent can work. It's a great idea, from marketing and also sport reasons. My mind says it can be Boytsov. Strong, determined, young and undefeated Russian, also similar sized, who's been KOing lately his rivals, last one who survived full distance facing him was Maddalone, who was TKOed yesterday night by Adamek.

What do you think about this match-up? Who will win ?

    Or WBO:

    Adamek #1
    Boystoy #4

I think we can go on like this, but I don't think it's in eithers best interest to fight an eliminator right now. High risk, no reward.
Boytsov will probably be the next mandatory for Haye, and Adamek is already the mandatory for Wlad. Not too smart to put that on the line, although I do wanna see that fight.

Yep, Main Events are no fools. They know that Adamek has already earned a ticket to a title by beating Arreola. If no title fight presents itself next, they will keep Adamek busy with either bums or hasbeens (RJJ and Holy). This is the right approach and can pay off big in the long run.

Honestly, Its a great fight for us fans... but it makes no sense for adamek

If adamek beats boystov, what does that do for him? Nothing at all......

Most people will say, boystov was an overprotected eurobum :-(

Well it happens all the time, after Adamek's bouts. For example: Before Golota people were saying he's too small, Golota will smash him. Adamek KOed him.

Before Arreola people were saying Arreola will finish Adamek early, Arreola was outpointed. After that people were saying Cris is a bum and nobody -> that win means no ****.

Adamek would be appreciated if he fought Haye and shattered his china chin or give Kliczko a competitive fight, sooner or later he'll get more respect :thumbsup

Do you think Adamek has more to gain from fighting American-level opponents like Briggs, Barrett, Brewster, Brock, Banks, Tua, Thompson or Tarver? If Adamek wins this fight, I will rank him above Vitali Klitschko. He has a lot to gain. This is a great fight between two tough, European professionals. Adamek is taking the iniative to fight a Euro-level warrior, which is more than we can say for the Klitschkos.

The winner of this fight should face 2-3 of the following European professionals:

    Andrzej Wawrzyk 19-0
    Yakup Saglam 26-0
    Andriy Rudenko 18-0
    Vladimir Tereshkin 17-0
    Alexander Povetkin 19-0
    Alexander Ustinov 21-0
    Alexey Soloviev 17-0

I thought the IBF already ordered an eliminator tournament between Jean Marc Mormeck, Eddie Chambers, Denis Boytsov and Alexander Dimitrenko?

I would love to see adamek fight the top Euro HW's. because europe has the BEST HW scene at this point....

But for adamek, its makes no sense.... Because boytsov is a beast, so is ustinov.....

And those fights will give him respect from us real fan's, but most people will say who? those guys are euro bums....

The american market is very hard to break through...

Adamek will never be accepted by American fans no matter who he fights. Year after year, the Klitschko's beat American-level professional after American-level professional, and still are shunned.

Adamek should return to Europe, and take on Euro-level challenges. He can build a following in the European market. Perhaps he can take easier fights against European athletes like Dimentrenko and Virchis, and then move on to fight Boystov or any of the professionals I listed.

he's already the wbo mandatory to V, im sure IBF would sign off on too. I say either go for the Klits if you can't get Haye.

Boystov wont take this fight. He seems prepared to pad his record and wait for the Klitschkos to clean out the contenders and then hope they retire. He doesnt seem to want to step up his competition but rather just wait and inherit a belt once the work has been done for him.

I'd rather see Adamek vs Povetkin... Winner vs Haye or Vitali
Boytsov is just a padded record who hasn't even fought a gatekeeper level heavyweight yet. Let Boytsov beat Sam Peter or the winner of Dimitrenko/Sosnowski. Then he can be considered in serious fight talk, IMO. Until then, wins over Jason Gavern and Mike Sheppard do not a good fighter make.
    Cheers!

Adamek doesn't need a fight with Boystov and Boystov probably doesn't want one with Adamek. Adamek will keep making paydays in New Jersey against guys like Grant or Maddalone until a Klitschko or possibly Haye fight comes along. Boystov seems happy with his current schedule and I don't know when he steps it up. If an Adamek-Boystov bout happened I'd pick Adamek on points.
