With the latest fighters withdrawing from the "GR8 Britain" vs the world card does it still derserve to be PPV? I mean Smith vs Degale - cracking match up but its only a Brittish title fight! -Frankie Gavin's out -Mohamedi's not in Cleverly's league-result one sided victory -No Klitschko vs chisora And Warren matches up the rest of his men with inferior opponents! That leaves Khan vs Maidana which will be exiting but come on PPV? Its not Tyson vs Holyfield is it!
£15 for Smith-DeGale, the Cleverly fight, Ortiz-Peterson and Khan-Maidana isn't bad. Before the drop-outs it was a very good card and I think it's still pretty decent.
Go pay for PPV's like Haye-Harrison if you don't like it. Who else do you want to be put on it? Warren has the best in the UK. Who else do you expect on the card? This not being PPV worthy talk is a load of ****.
Agree the British card is a bit shite apart from Smith-DeGale and Selkirk-O'Meara. But can't argue with this being on PPV, they're showing a lot of boxing including a good US card (don't forget about Ortiz-Peterson). Arguably, Clev's new opponent is as good as, if not better than that Laktos fella. Wlad-Chisora was a mismatch anyway. Laz, you've got to stop assuming everyone paid for Haye/Audley :good (we know you're trying to help Khan's PPV figures by pushing the card ) Sky have said that if you ordered the card before the pullouts you can phone up and have your money back.
The Khan fight is on at 4 am and wouldn't be PPV if not for Warren's card. His last fight was on ITV. If I wanna watch Warren's card at a mate's house, and come home for the Khan fight, I've gotta pay £15 again and be up til 5 am. Definately shouldn't be PPV.
Well, I don't think they can put cards on free in case some people want to watch fights in different houses!
they could reduce the fee £15's a bit steep now its not as if it comes straight out your account they could deduct it off your sky bill a tenner might be fairer but if i pay for this it will be £45 in the last few months on boxing and the pacman fight was'nt PPV in England
Just be lucky we're not in America mate. Their big PPV's are $50/55, the Donaire PPV last week was $40+, Adamek-Maddalone was $25. It's your fault if you paid for Haye/Audley. No one's forcing anyone to buy a PPV, it's your choice.
I paid 15 quid for Khan v ***an, Barrera and Salita mainly with poor undercards, i paid 15 quid for Haye v Harrison. Theres no way in the world this is guna be any worse than them. Gutted the Vlad fight and Gavin fights are off but even still......
Not on its own, but Khan-Maidana probably would have been a PPV anyway. It's like getting a bunch of bonus fights.
I thought Khan-Barrera had an awesome undercard. I actually bought that one in the US for about the same price. IIRC, Macca-Afolabi, Cook-Martinez and Pryce-Hall were all on that one.
