Or is a safety first win enough?

Winning a UD an blocking off all of Maidanas tactics is enough for me. However as a fan id love for the kid to take a shot somewhere inbetween clean on the jaw and just come back flurrying and then resuming a boxing lesson without getting knocked out. Hell id even love for him to get off the floor to win big. Not long left

He currently has my respect but he'd lose it if he did that. I certainly wouldn't respect his intelligence.

Nah, trading would be a silly thing to do, ring IQ is one of the most important aspects of professional boxing..And that's what he has to do, use the ring IQ he has to keep Maidana out of his comfort zone.

I expect Khan to comfortably outbox maidana. However if he slugs it out he getting knocked out. But i'm sure Roach has set the game plan for Khan to follow.

But the hype around maidana is quite ridiculous, khan would outbox him any day of the week.

Thing is this though if maidana is able to get inside he will do damage with that right hand, you can not place a bet on khan and be comfortable for 12 rounds. If khan keeps moving and on the outisde he will win for sure, but maidana is taller then I expected him to be next to khan and he is not that slow or something he should be able to land some big blows.

Obviously no-one wants to see him run for 12 rounds, but if he sticks on the outside and outboxes Maidana like he should I'll respect that. It'll show he's smart enough to execute an effective plan. If he slugs I'll lose respect for him for employing stupid tactics

Anyone who votes yes has no idea what boxing is about.

Seriously, the art of boxing is hit and not get hit. Khan would be ******ed to go toe to toe with him. :patsch

Khan will feed him the jab all night long, Maidana won't get in unless khan lets him. Also Khan power is also underrated. Don't be surprised to see khan knock him down several times in the fight.

Maidana just has a punch, which can land against mediocre boxers, khan is no mediocre boxer, he will make sure he keeps maidana at distance.

yea i would like to see him get punched in the face flush, just to make sure he has what it takes to take a big hit....if he does that then he's golden.
