Round 2...nice lead right hand from Macklin followed by a left hook up close, nothing behdin both punches though. They both stand toe-to-toe and Varon can handle himself inside, throws a couple of hooks but Macklin replies in kind. The jabs gone from Macklin :huh and the distance really is closed and Varon is getting more into it but Macklin knows how to work on the inside. Both guys standing forehead to forehead adn we're seeing some nice inside work from both. Both looking to work the body before bringing the hooks upstairs. Neither man looking for the uppercut and that punch could be the key if the fight continues to be fought at close quarters. I'm giving that to Macklin with the more eye catching punches.

Round 3...Macklin looking to re-establish the jab but it doesn't work and it's still a close quarters fight. Varon gets warned for a low blow as a body shot strays low. Varon can handle himself and another low shot from Varon. Mackling flurries on the inside and now he's really ripping in the hooks, first to the body and then to the head. Now we see a short uppercut from Macklin just as the bell goes.

Another Macklin round but it's close and Varon is landing a fair bit. Think Macklin has a cut.
