That was a Warren home fighter stoppage there FFS just seen the replay of it Ref jumped in like Bellew had handed out a beating similar to Mercer vs Morrison.

 

The stoppage was a joke.
Bellew went down hard twice and got the benefit of the doubt.
McKenzie goes down once and then the referee goes silly.

 

That's the worst stoppage I've seen in years. After the knockdown (which admittedly was a big one but Ovill got straight back up), not one punch landed and the ref jumped in. Terrible.

Plus I can't be the only one who thought the count took about 4 seconds as well.

 

rematch looks a good idea
