Bellew - same problems last night as he had in the Ajisafe fight...eagerness, temprement, loading up with predictable right hands, prone to a knock down here and there

Macklin - bang average for me. Still dining out on the stoppage win over Asikainen over a year ago and hasn't done a great deal since. He may well pick up a title if they're clever about it but he's not genuine world class IMO.

Clev - had a bad night against an awful style that he hadn't prepared for. He will make it to world level I think but needs more learning fights yet. No need to rush him.

by all accounts Macklin was struggling with a chest infection and was thinking about pulling out!

I think all 3 were found out to be at the limits of the levels they are at present. No shame just the truth.

    Agreed.

Bellew just needs to calm down, have a beer before the fight to relax. Anything.

Macklin was poor, we had decent seats in the arena and all of us reckoned that fight was touch and go..... not a good showing at all.

Cleverly can have a bit of a pass with the late replacement and such, but I think he needs a few lessons before they move him on. Maybe a loss would do the trick?
