Lol, even now he could cause froch problems for a few rounds, in 5 years he'll be more than one class above.
You are delusional. How can you compare the two? froch carries massive power which would KO anybody at domestic level. One win against Smith (a middleweight who struggled against Quigley) proves jack **** and you know it.
groves next, then he should fight brian magee. then **** frank warren off for goldenboy and move to mayweathers gym :good
no he isnt! you dont like degale, we get it!! speed kills!! he showed tonight how fast and strong he was. froch wouldnt have the time to wind up the big shots!!
next, i'm assuming the groves fight won't happen, so i think he'll have a straightforward brit title defence next against someone like mcguire or david. or i'd love anderson to get a shot at degale to give a bit of a comparison with groves.
who ever is saying froch to beat deGale is a maniac... froch is borderline p4p top ten at the min and i think another convincing win over glen johnson will make froch favourite to win the super six
I'm not sure to be honest. Realistically him and Groves can't be kept apart for too long - Smith had beaten two decent domestic contenders before losing to DeGale, who had beaten Dilks. Groves has beaten Anderson. Unless they are looking at getting some foreign opposition in, I don't know. But really there isn't a great deal available that would bridge the gap from the likes of Smith to genuine world class - most of the gatekeeper types are old and banged up like Larsen. Could always go for Sartison for the paper WBA title. Would like to see Warren get DeGale on a card in the States at some point too. As for Groves, he needs to make a statement in his next fight. Coming through a war with Anderson showed plenty of courage, but showed up a few flaws, plus he wants to be Haye mk 2 (which needs stamping out, one is one too many) - perhaps Anderson again?
kenny anderson actually sounds like a good idea to me, would be useful to compare progress between degale and groves
Groves then Magee. If he can get past them then he's in Froch, Bute, Dirrell territory. He looked class last night. Controlled Smith with the jab and set him up time and again for combinations.
Just to make you all calm down, I'm going to go with Paul David. A different style to your average British Fighters and as we have seen a lot recently our guys seem to go to **** when they are fighting someone that has an unorthodox spoiler style because they are so used to fighting straight forward fighters, this would be a good experience for Degale. After that I would bring in someone really experienced like Enrique Ornelas, Kingsley Ikeke, Stjepan Bozic, Lolenga Mock.
Groves is pointless at this moment in time. Let him build his own way up without running off DeGale's name. I'd like them to both make there way to the top if possible, without DeGale destroying him in the process.
Yea i think Kenny Anderson is a good shout, really cant see the Groves team wanting the fight at this moment in time.
