**** em. Let em hate. Just makin themselves look more stupid (especially the ones who pick against him in every fight then get proven wrong). Khan has skills & will continue to win. The only people with a decent chance of beating him are the guys at the very top of the division. He deserves respect for that alone.
Is that not impressive in itself though? Consider the guy he fought is one of the most relentless, powerful punchers p4p in the sports and Khan had to take what he had and come through it to get a decision.
Well let's look at why. He's Muslim, so that's quite a haters right away. He's Pakistani, so whites, blacks and racists can target him. He's British, easy target for non Brits (America I'm looking in you direction in particular). He was given an easy route and tons of exposure early in his career when lot of peoples favourite fighters had it tough and hold that against him. He got ko'd early in his career, easy to make fun of that from the glass jaw brigade. His mouth, this is the only problem I've ever had with the lad, his twitter bull**** plus some of the **** he spoke as his ego grew was out of order. Pretty easy to see why he's hated considering the above.
You're absolutely right. I'm honestly happy for Khan. He went for the challenge, like a man. And he succeeded. Could it get any better? Go **** yourselves, haters. Homo Jerome aka TwitterChamp should be banned.
he's a decent fighter but all this "hater" talk wont change my opinion that Khan will soon meet the canvas and will stay there thats if he fights top fighters, i dont hate him, that fight changed my mind about him, and i hope he can improve but i doubt it. dont hate me
good points... i also used to dislike his talk early on....but he's much more level headed now. still don't like to see the hype he gets.... and roach talks a bit too much **** in overating him. he is still a couple of levels below mayweather and if they fought he would get ko'd due to his clumsioness and lack of concentration. mayweather adapts his gameplan mid-fight khan can't seem to follow one when pressured. i really like khan now and i'm a big fan...but he must improve and fight SMART like he said he woud before this fight. We khan fans should praise the haters.....It was only the desire to prove the haters wrong and the will and determination to show that ....that prevented khan from going down in the 10th.... fighters with better chins would've gone down....khan showed his lions heart and his will and guts and proved to the haters what a warrior he is. he needs that in his future fights...he needs to use the hate as a weapon..
Have never been a huge fan of Amir Khan but there are now a few things you cant deny about him: - he is willing to fight anybody, including the hardest puncher in his division when even he probably knows his chin isnt the best deep down, I reckon its down to his handlers rather than his own wishes that it seems sometimes he's been protected during his career -nobody can question his heart, even when he got ko'd by Prescott he tried to get back up, and to survive the 10th round last night after the beating he took was amazing I can understand some of the hate he gets but he deserves a bit of respect now
I agree with freelaw. Khan keeps winning and he just beat the hardest puncher at 140(most likely in the top 10 P4P too) while taking everything he threw at him.
I am a Khan fan but he had me worried last night lol. He can't fight like that again and should've went to the body more. I was impressed by how many flush shots he toke on the chin but many times he stood in front of Maidana and toke unneeded uppercuts. I thought he did fight scared in the end but I was surprised about his endurance. He needs more experience but after last night, no one with a brain can call Khan's chin glass.
