...and who has doubted Khan's, referring to it as "supernaturally weak" and one of the "worst in the history of boxing" (despite being a fan of his, I also live in the real world and previous evidence showed an incredibly weak jaw, I call on it to be officially upgraded - Clearly, he is still vulnerable and may well end up being stopped in future, but on tonight's evidence, it is not possible to say that it's bone china at the weight. It is shaky, it is clearly not granite but a true glass jaw would have crumpled entirely in the face of tonight's fight.

If the ranking system is to remain credible, there is no way Khan can remain in the top five glass jaws on current form. The day may well come when he's once again splayed out on the canvas being counted out, but for now, we have plenty of 'one punch and gone' fighters who've had their chin's shattered more recently and very spectacularly.

It would be folly to consider Khan's chin the worst of the worst at this point in time.

The Glass checkers had Khan getting stopped by Malignaggi :patsch

And they said the wind of Maidana would knock Khan out :patsch

Khan does NOT have a Glass Jaw.

Corley, Ortiz, Cayo ALL went down from Maidana's huge right. Why didn't Khan?

And I can't believe the uppercuts that Khan took. Amazing.

    That's not a Glass jaw.

Khan is still vaunrable no doubt about that but people thought itd take just one bomb to send him to sleep. Including me.

If he can take the type of shots he did and still stand the other Lightwelters out there must be a little concerned for their chances of beating him.

At the lower weight he was hit and hit by pitty-patter punchers, and we all saw the Prescott fight. Honestly, I can hold my hands up and say that his chin has clearly improved at 140lbs and I hope others can do the same.

With that said, there WAS prior evidence that his chin was diabolical. With that said, I differ in that I have no relish to see Khan KOed...while a staunch believer in glass jaws, I admire fighters who can work through them.

Khan took countless bombs from the biggest puncher P4P in boxing. He clearly has upgraded from glass to GOOD chin at least. I'm sure many fighters would have been KO'd from some of those shots, but not King Khan. He did Britain proud!

He's got a decent chin. He's not really glass jawed, but he is vulnerable.

lets be real though, watching his reaction to getting hit in the past by super featherweight powder puff punchers, you cant blame some people for thinking that

This is getting overblown. One fight a chin does not make. The notion that Khan's chin is now "average" is absurd. He took some shots, absolutely. He was still put on ***** street during the fight and has a LONG HISTORY of being wobbled, knocked down, and knocked flat out. His chin is still weak.

Agreed - plenty of guts shown by Amir - lets hope he can go on to dominate at this weight. I love watching his fights - he's so classy and blurring speed - plus you don't know if he is going to get into trouble in the next exchange - it is great for boxing to have a new exciting star. Forget who is is and where he is from - just enjoy Khan and his fights.

A guy with a 90% KO rate could not put Khan on the canvas. Khan has an underrated chin, not great, but severely underrated.
