We now know he has the chin, but does he have the skill to beat bradley/alexander?

Joel Diaz is world class. Like last night it's all well setting plans but when it's all said done it's the fighters who win fights and fight's don't always go to plan.

 

I still favour Khan against the other boys in the division. Stylistically this was the hardest fight for Khan, throughout his career he's struggled with the come forward pressure fighters who have some pop... and in Maidanas case, obv a fair bit of pop. When given the chance to box, Khan can shine. I think many on here are still trying to detract from Khans achievements. He will be a handful for both Devon and Timmy. I do think he can manage Devon handily but Timmy will be a tough challenge. But I still favour Khan. Khan obv had to change things up for this fight mainly due to the sheer dangerousness of Maidana punches, thats one thing which will be slightly lower down the agenda against Timmy or Devon. What we should also remember is he very nearly blew out Maidana in round one with some hurtful body shots. I was sorely disappointed he didnt throw more.

 

Roach and Diaz aren't the ones in the ring. Diaz looks like a good trainer. When Bradley put Peterson down, Diaz immediately told Timmy not to trade, but to outbox his man. Sound tactics that took away Peterson's aggression.

Roach didn't seem able to keep Khan focused at all at some points. That doesn't diminish Khan's success last night - he looked great, I had real admiration for how he rode out the storm late. But as others have said, he's making serious, amateur mistakes.

Maidana's crude enough that he didn't have the technique to punish Khan (even though he had him flopping about the ring at some points), but others do. Bradley isn't a hard puncher, but I'm not sure Amir's become an iron-chinned monster all of a sudden.

he took the shots well, but he was getting shaken up. He shouldn't rely on this newfound stability. I have the feeling it won't stick.

Not a fan of Khan, but always picked him to beat either Alexander or Bradley.
In fairness to Khan he did impress me with how he hung tough against Maidana. I thought it would be an easy win for Khan.

 

Bradley is the hardest assignment due to how their styles will mesh together, i think Khan gives Alexander a boxing lesson.

What's happened to the self professed greatest prospect and Boxer of all time. I haven't heard of him since Top Rank released him.

 

He was directly next to De La Hoya in his Cowboy hat, this dude was in a white top, with both ears pierced from the looks of it...he was going mental..
