well i was wrong about khan and his chin!!!

Fair play to Amir last night. I actually thought he was brilliant all night (bar the 10th).

The 1st round when he got tagged I was like 'here we go again' but he took the bombs well and produced a fantastic body shot to drop maidana who I thought was out of it.

In the 10th he showed grit, determination and willpower to stay in there when a middleweight would have been dropped.

My fight of the year I think.

I dont think a rematch is necessary as I thought it was a convincing win, but I wouldn't mind seeing it again at all!

What a fight,i never thought i would see Khan in a fight as good as that and taking those type of punches,really great to see.

 

After khan put him down in round one i lost it... Ripped my t shirt off and started going ****ing ape... Couldnt watch round 10... felt sick.. Had a mcd's breakfast wen it was all done tho! haah :good

 

i had to change my boxers after the fight , thats how good/anxious it was

 

Khan's chin is weak.

But he's tough, he has heart, and he's improved his conditioning and his defense and skill. He knows to keep his chin down and he knows to move in the same direction as the incoming punch. I think he's a really good fighter. He's still got plenty of room for improvement.

I wasn't really surprised at all by his performance, I've always known this kid can fight.
I was more surprised by the punishment Maidana took.

seriously that fight was crazy, i think khan could have boxed maaidana ass off like he did against kotelnik bi=ut he wanted to proove a point against the biggest puncher in the division and some fight this was defo fight of the year

 

Khan went agaianst his instincts last night and fought like gatti in his fights with mickey ward to prove a point which he did. If he had used is boxing skills it would have been a wider margin of victory.

 

I take it he has a good chin then!!!!
