come on dude really? of course he has a "bad" chin, is it better then it used to be? of course, but dont act like he's proven his chin staggering all around the ring.

a better way to put it would be to say "his chin is better then we thought".

    After watching a great fight last night I come on here and read that;

    Khan is on PED's.

    Cortez helped Khan win.

Maidana actually won by TKO in the 10th, but the corrupt Cortez didn't stop it.

Khan won the fight, but Maidana won the event.

    Khan ran like a coward.

    The fight was a draw.

Khan still has a glass chin and will get KO'd by whoever he fights next.

I don't know why some people bother watching boxing when all that seems to motivate them is bitterness.

I'm sorry but how you can even say that after he stood up to flush right hands from a guy that's the hardest puncher in his division is frankly shocking.

Those shot's in the tenth would have KO'd the majority of welterweights.

The fact is that Khan's conditioning has improved considerably since Prescott, and so has his overall durability.

To be fair, many people said Maidana would KO Khan. They were not exactly wild with their predictions, Maidana is a massive puncher, and Khan's chin is not exactly iron framed. A lot of folk who chose Maidana have accepted that Khan just outfought him, and is the better fighter. I'm sure we all underestimated his chin, who would have thought he would take the shots he did?

What does **** me off, is those who made threads saying Maidana WILL KO Khan, and Khan will DEFINETELY get knocked out. It is reasonable to say, 'I think Maidana will KO Khan, because Khan's chin is weak, and Maidana is a hard puncher'. But saying that Maidana WILL knock him out, without question, is just annoying and sad. If you have an opinion, state it respectively instead of just making ridiculous statements. Nobody could have predicted the outcome of this fight. Why were people acting like they could?

Zakman, Rico Spadafora, TwitterHomoJerome should either congratulate Khan on his win and accept they were wrong, or leave ESB. Because no-one wants them here.

Well I think the fight lived to the expectations. The people that were going for Khan belived that he would outbox him and he did and the people that were going for Khan (like myself) thought that once Maidana connected it would've been the beginning of the end and it almost happened!! So I thought it was a great night of boxing were the more skilled fighter beat the vicious puncher.

Your avatar is stupid. Are you flicking us off or the money? Because if you want to make a statement by flicking us off with money in the background, I suggest you get your game up by using more than 400 dollars in 20 dollar bills lol.

It was a good fight, from Khan's perspective. He got the win and valuable experience to boot. The flaws he showed in the fight can be reviewed by his team, but unfortunately be studied by future opponents. He came in trying to prove something. He is still unable to capitalize on his reach and height advantage, Maidana being able to cut distance easily. His accuracy leaves much to be desired. Above all he can easily be countered.

I picked Khan to outbox Maidana, to a decision victory. But, Khan showed vulnerabilities that a sharper puncher with good (not even Maidana level) power, and better technique than Maidana, can exploit, IMO.

Personally, I expected more from Kahn.

Rounds 1 and 2 were impressive, but I wasn't impressed after round 3.

He hand picked an opponent, so he must have been confident, but he wound up barely making through the fight.

Kahn would have been dropped without the holding.

Overall, it showed Kahn is not on the Pacquaio, Mayweather, Roy Jones level of fighters. He's human.

Still a great fight and much props to both guys for finishing the fight and going 100%.
