wow, 4 ,6 and 7? Doesn't surprise me, you're not a unbias boxing fan... you have your loverboys and the ones that you hate. Pathetic . Go watch round 11 again... argue that Maidana landed the cleaner punches ... Maidana mostly missed in the 11th.
1) Khan 10-8 Maidana 2) Khan 10-9 Maidana 3) Khan 9-10 Maidana 4) Khan 10-9 Maidana 5) Khan 10-8 Maidana 6) Khan 9-10 Maidana 7) Khan 9-10 Maidana 8) Khan 10-9 Maidana 9) Khan 10-9 Maidana 10) Khan 8-10 Maidana 11) Khan 10-9 Maidana 12) Khan 9-10 Maidana 114-111 Khan
Maidana hardly landed a shot in the 11th. Khan did the better work and let some combos go in the 11th that all found the target. I had it 115-111
I gave the 11th to Maidana, because Khan was still on unsteady leggs the first minutes of the fight and still recovering and backing up, while Maidana landed a few good hard shots in, allthough not always clean, he was the busier guy, Khan however became more active in the last minute and could've stole the round with his flurries, but I think Maidana did enough to win the 11th aswell. 114-113 Khan, it was close but definitely a Khan win!!
what a pointless thing to say its the same as saying if khan landed that body punch earlier in the round he would've stopped maidana
15 rounds wouldn't have gone Maidana's way, he was gassed. If he had more stamina, he would've KOed Khan, he simply seemed spent after the 10th.
I said that because, to me, Kahn was running scared for the last few rounds. Maidana was landing the uppercut and body shots at will. Kahn would run for 2/3 of the round then try to throw some flurries in the middle and at the end to steal the round, a la Sugar Ray Leonard. I felt that Maidana was coming on stronger with each round, and Kahn as obviously fading. If the fight was longer, Kahn might have been KO'ed. As for the last 15 round championships... :good Exactly my scorecard aswell. People having Kahn winning the fight with a wide margin need to look more indepth. At times Kahn was not sitting down on his punches at all. It was allowing Maidana to walk him down, so you cannot score Kahn rounds such as the 3rd or 11th just because his punches are eyecatching etc. Maidana was controlling those rounds without doubt.
1) Khan 10-8 2) Khan 10-9 3) Maidana 10-9 4) Maidana 10-9 (only close rd to score. easily coulda given it to kahn. but he didn't land anything) 5) Khan 10-8 6) Maidana 10-9 7) Maidana 10-9 8) Khan 10-9 9) Khan 10-9 10) Maidana 10-8 (Khan was out on his feet 10 seconds from end) 11) Khan 10-9 12) Maidana 10-9 113-112 most people didn't give rd 3 and 4 to maidana. he landed more significant blows and you dont get rounds by landing to gloves/elbows and backpeddling.
