    Hi Tony,

Congratulations on last night. A great comback from a heavy looking KD. You're becoming like Marquez in that respect!

I was sitting watching your fight next to some of Ovills camp, and I was told that he had done a lot of sparring with Carl Froch in Sheffield recently and that Frank Warren didn't know about this. Had you heard about this going into the fight?

Makes me laugh when people moan about arrogance and cockyness. You want guys like Bellew and DeGale to be all humble. I like fighters to be humble but having confidence doesn't mean they ain't. I don't want to hear fighters always go ''yeah well i hope i win, anything can happen. he's a great fighter and i dunno if my punch is that good to win...''. It doesn't send out impression...Watch this fight! or put bets on me! it just boring.

My top boy is Cotto because he's humble and different but we need a balance otherwise guys like Cotto would be the norm.

Tony and Chunky have talent, i'd for one tune in to watch Bomber fight. He's an animal inside the ring and that's how he has to be. What's point of being a nice puncher....Nigel Benn was as edgy as they come. Needled up guy who let them ****ing hands bang.

Last night i watched a banger and talented lad in Ortiz smile when he got a draw. That's a ****ing disgrace IMO. He throws away the fight and shrugs it off like it's ok. He clearly doesn't want it enough. I rather have a man talk **** then that type of bollocks.

People need to realise boxing needs your Cotto's, Donaire's, Katsidis, Marquez's but you also need your Froch's, DeGale's, Bellew's,

Totally agree with the bit in bold, when fighters or other sportsman do stuff like the fans do, it endears them to the people.

The fans would moan soon enough if all fighters did was fight, take their money, go home and never speak to fans so yeah we should be grafeful.

I think he really needs to move up to cruiser. It might not make sense financially, but neither will under performing at 175. I think he did really well after the first 2 rounds. He adapted to McKenzie's tricky style well and done well not to get frustrated or start chasing the magic punch. I said after the Ajisafe fight that it would be a big learning fight for him, and he proved last night that it was. Congratulations Tony, but I think I'd be saying that to you more often if you were to move up.

Why are people making the LHW thing like its a big deal in the money stakes. The only time it will make a difference is at world level but its a bit presumptuous for a commonwealth champion to stay at a weight that might not be good for him in the hope it will pay off "when he gets to world level" At the level Bellew is at it makes no difference and minus Clev its not like LHW is talent rich and especially exciting.

It was a horseshít stoppage, not Tony's fault of course, but there was still more work to do to win that fight, for both fighters. I'd like to see a rematch.

Yeah, all true, i just don't see any harm in confidence, it never did the likes of Chico Corrales any harm, he was heavily flawed and was basically a warrior of the highest order. Point taken though

I think Tony Bellew should become an MMA fighter lol. He tends to fight in the boxing ring as though he is in a street fight.

i think it's a bit harsh some of the people having a go at tony here.the over view i take is that he got tagged on the back of the head in the first, which was a bit naughty on ovil's part.the second knockdown was a legit massive shot that would have put down a heavyweight!
tony, how you got up so quickly from that punch i will never know!!to fight your way back into it like you did is a credit to your heart lad.i could see the stoppage happening at some point after about four rounds.it just felt like it was looming if you know what i mean.i know how sick i feel and how weak my legs feel after being put on my arse so for you to fight back like that and take control was good to see.
one thing i agree with the lads in here is your jab.i'd love to see you pumping it out more to prize open peoples defence to get the bombs off.

overall mate,i think it was a good performance against a cracking fighter in ovil with some heartstopping moments along the way.as long as you can take something from it and use it to your advantage to improve your game for the bigger fights coming next year then great!!

have a good break with the kids over christmas and come back even better next year lad:good

Personally as a fan of the sport rahter than Bellew himself...sorry Tony I just loved watching the fight...very very entertaining and the great end to an ok bill.

I think everything has been said regarding teh performance and everything else so I will just say that after two awkward opponents will Bellew be put in with guys that will make him look good now....like promoters usually do with top prospects? Or will Bellew just keep on fighting ad beating whoever the **** gets out in front of him no matter who they are?
