Botha8, I hope your arm has healed. THANKS!!!!!!!! WHAT A GREAT SBR SITE. Sportbook gotA+ and has a lot of MMA action but very little boxing (e.g., not handling bets for Lacy-Manfredo and nothing after PBF-Hatton until 1/19 Jones-Trinidad.
Sorry, I have now had my coffee. I meant bookmaker.com (which got an A+ on SBR). Looks great for UFC but surprisingly limited for boxing. Any thoughts about bookmaker????
Sorry excuses mate. I'm fairly new to betfair. I saw this http://xs122.xs.to/xs122/07480/2321321312.JPG .:? I could sent you 10 bucks if you want it. Do yu use moneybookers? £20 will be credited to their account within 48 hours once they have placed matched bets to the value of £20
No, mate! My fault! I am an idiot and a ****!:deal I have just gone through the terms and conditions with a fine brush and This content is protected It's all legit and above board and your offer was correct and in good faith! I apologise!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, FORGIVE ME! (I overreacted trying to protect the others...)atsch
freesix88 is NOT a liar; he is NOT a cheat! Instead, Decebal is an idiot who makes unfounded accusations and doesn't read the Terms and Conditions carefully! atsch I apologise, freesix88, please forgive me!
I wasn't very clear either in my previous post anyway. Sorry for the 0.30 lost:hey (to be honest, i didn't read the terms and conditions either ) Now put your money on Mayweather:happy And bet at your own risk. Let's make some money.
one thing i'd like to mention is that its important to shop around for odds. I know for example that if a british fighter is fighting an american fighter, I'll find a british website to bet on the american, and an american website to bet on the brit. Sometimes (rarely, but not THAT rarely) I can find a disparity in odds big enough that I can guarantee a small profit no matter the winner. In those situations i can put down 10000$ and make say 100$ profit. Or at least even if i don't cover my bet i know i am getting good value for my bet because as a general rule bookies are always right on the winning probabilities, but since they adjust the odds due to where people place their bets, I can take advantage of that. Right now I'm on a bad streak so its obviously not easy but what i would suggest is to not get discouraged. I have a policy of always betting for about 10% profit of what i have. I head alot of people are betting on Mayweather a 1/2 but im getting 4/7 on my website so thats considerably better. www.stanjames.com Oddschecker.com is always a good reference.
I think step one of advice for betting on boxing should be.....don't do it. I'm sure most people lose money, and a good percentage of those people lose even more money with a scheme to gain back their initial loss. I have had some pretty good luck in Vegas with some of my bets, but will admit that a lot of the money I won was eventually lost by me getting too ambitious. There really is no such thing as a sure thing. I mean, people bet on fights like, say, Darchinyan v. Donaire, and put their life savings on it thinking that it was a safe investment. Something where a 10-1 favorite gets upset. The right thing to do is to not bet more than you can afford to lose, and keep it to relatively small amounts solely for the entertainment value of betting on sports.
I punt on boxing farily regularly. The best "bet" is to take out the emotion and assess odds without thinking that either fighter is superman. A mate of mine is launching his boxing odds comparison site www.ko-odds.com pretty soon. I have been using the back end of it and testing it out and its a pretty helpful tool.
