I'm glad Vargas picks Mayweather while a number of actual legends have picked Pacquiao. Vargas is dumb as ****.
Funny, I could have sworn that FMJ is a counter puncher (as is JMM) because he sure as hell isn't comfortable as a pressure fighter. And actually my analogy was a bit off. FMJ throws a jab, backs off, goes into the shoulder roll, throws a lunging left hook, backs off, goes into the shoulder roll, throws a right hand, backs off, goes into the shoulder roll, and repeat. JMM actually throws beautiful combinations. Sorry for that comparison, JMM. And are you saying that FMJ is smarter than JMM in the ring? The only smart thing FMJ has done is to not sign on the dotted line to fight Cotto, Margarito, Williams, and PacMan. And by his track record he won't be signing to fight Martinez too.
Mayweather is smarter than JMM in the ring. He's the smartest fighter today in the ring. He dictates what goes on. Mayweather has no one style, that's why fighters have so much problem preparing for him. Mayweather fights according to his opponents. If his plan A don't work, he reajust to another style.
And I could have sworn you are a floydette in your earlier post! The smarter thing that fraud did was ask jmm to fight at 144 then have it changed to 147 before weigh-in. The smartest thing he did was he dictated how the fight with a shorter reach jmm would go, a fight between 2 counterpunchers - with fraud as the one countering and jmm as the one attacking. Genius.
Who was that guy in the ring with Margarito after he got abused by Manny acting like they were gonna announce Antonio as "The New" - winning the fight. Oh it was Vargas. nice thread troll!
I'll agree to disagree that FMJ is smarter than JMM in the ring. He doesn't dictate what goes on in the ring. He waits to counter punch in 98% of his fights. The only time I saw him be aggressive was in the Gatti fight. Even against the smaller JMM he was waiting to counter punch. Against Judah he was bewildered and didn't know what to do. Luckily Judah went into his usual mental lapse and lost the fight. And he sure as hell didn't adapt for **** against Castillo I. It's one thing when you fight and beat B fighters, but you have to prove you can do that against the A fighters too.
I'm far from a floydette, but it would be ignorant not to admit that the dude has skills in the ring. Has he proven those skills against top notch comp? IMO he hasn't, thus the reason he gets ragged on by a lot of people, including me. When did FMJ change the weight to 147? I didn't know he had the power to do that. What I do know is that he didn't bother to come in at the contracted weight, but I assume you knew that already right, genius?
Vargas isn't brain dead or an imbecile bro. He's an ******* and he's abbrasive. But he's a fighter with a chip on his shoulder. There are many like him. But he does have a good character about him. He's not overly cocky and overly abbrasive. He was a very good champion who unfortunately had to retire early due to injuries. Vargas was one of my favorite back in the day. He faught anyone and everyone which has got to be respected.
All hispanic and black fighters hate on the Pacman bigtime. Can anyone tell me the last time Floyd engaged with an opponent? he dos'nt=the best defensive fighter in the world, but you cannot go twelve rounds defending and countering someone who puts constant pressure with pinpoint accuracy like the PACMAN!!. Stop talking about the testing Pacman agreed to it the point is Floyd is scared of losing the 0 as he will. Pretty boy will go down in history as the best talker and the greatest DUCKER of the modern era.
You ****ing ******* many of these kinds of threads have been done when a fighter makes a prediction on this fight **** off.
Another ****ing idiot who has seen about two of PBF fights and doesn't have a clue. Did he engage Gatti? Chico? Mosley? Hatton? Log off you don't know **** about boxing *******.
