Every single time he loses or draws, everyone is looking at Oscar's expression as he tries to hold back the words "Shut Up you dumb punk before I smack you. You just cost me again with that stupid "thankful" attitude"

Ortiz is not going to produce his best with pressure like that. I think Ortiz needs to move to
new trainer and set up away from Goldenboy. He is not the "next Oscar Delahoy" but can develop into a decent boxer even be world Champion , but they shouldn't push him, his confidence is low at the moment, he needs a few low key easy fights. The talent is there, he can come back to challenge if given support now.

If he is willing to take the money that comes from being with Golden Boy then he is willing to take the pressure.

He definitely isn't the next de la Hoya, not by a long way.

I agree with both of you. Ortiz confidence is a big issue and yes I think GBP and ODH are putting alot of pressure on a kid that just doesn't have it and can't produce.

Ortiz just needs to keep winning and not worry too much about it.
Besides, Alvarez already took that "Spot" from him.

How can he keep winning when he keeps quitting?

Golden Boy aren't stupid enough to keep spending millions on Ortiz if he doesn't have the heart to fight and take risks.

Ortiz was the exact opposite of Khan on the 12th. Khan took risks, paid the price, but won the match.
