    this is not funny,im working in the hospital that the survivors are coming in at.my best mates are italians,asians and greeks and arabs...i live in a multi cultural society and i respect all people.....im a wog and proud also....!the amount of non legit refugees we get in this country is nothing compared tp europe or america.so if u cant handle boat people,you must have a paranoia problem....julian assange just won MAN OF THE YEAR.

    Indonesia the largest Muslim populated country on the planet has Christmas trees all over thier shopping centres.
    I've been to one in Jakarta which has a decorated Christmas tree about six floors high.

    You are working on Christmas Island?
    Interesting place, I or my employees work thier several times a year. In the hospital. Very interesting place. Has some very quirky goings on.

    I totally agree. I used to be Lifeguard. And i can ashore most its hard enough a human adult surviving the sea and what it has to offer.

    But to take Children on boats that are no more suited for sea travel than a Fishing tinnie is just stupidity. Yet we feel sorry for them.

    NO. Its madness. You would not even see someone like myself taking my 8 year daughter to the Murray River without myself and a lifejacket present. And still even then i wouldnt be 100% confident because of the current.

    Yet these people take small children in a Cyclone type seas in a shitty boat. And we are supposed to feel sorrow.

    This is not me being racist. To me the parents should be charged and jailed just like a parent that leaves there child in the car while going to Gamble.

    For me there is not much difference.

    And like you said Rodin they use these tactics so they have a better chance because they have children.

    Now that to me is as good as manslaughter.
