Seriously, nobody here really cares about that **** anymore. If they're American and good, fine, but your emphasis should be on promoting for talent, hunger and skill above anything else. It gets frustrating listening to their red, white, and blue washed commentary as well as their overall promotion strategy. Think what Martinez could have done with just better promotion(and non-fudged scorecards cough cough). Are any other U.S. people just fed up at this point?

I have nothing wrong with them feeding us the talents of Dawson and Williams if that's what you're alluding to. Aside from their not being enough fights that feature TWO good fighters, I believe they do an acceptable balance of US/foreign fighters. Showtime is king, in my opinion.

I agree. I also feel it's too early to give up on Williams and Dawson. Just because they lose one fight, they're all of a sudden they were never any good. I assume their experience with the Klitchsckos, and the lack of interest Americans had in watching them, would make them more hesitant to sign foreign fighters.

They can do what ever they want. It's there show. If they want to keep me paying for my subscription, then they better step it up and put better fights. Best way to create a fighter is to let them fight and see what sticks. Sorta like what showtime does. You can't let one promoter in charge. Give the dates to the best fight.

But what about the success of dudes like Pacquiao? And Khan? and upcoming guys like Lemieux or GGG? HBO needs to realize that the lion's share of talent in this sport isn't coming from our soil anymore

NO! HBO and Showtime at the end of the day are American boxing networks so of course they're going to showcase American talent. This thread is ridiculous.
