I didn't think James was that impressive. he did a good job. nothing mind blowing. he out-boxed a guy he was meant to.

He made it look so easy, won every round over a seasoned champion on away soil and not even into double figures yet as far as pro fights go. I thought that was pretty impressive:good

Agreed. He did everything with flying colors IMO. I never expected him to KO Smith because i know Chunky hasn't developed that type power but he still wobbled a solid guy and looked real classy defensively as well as showing maturity.

Can't ask for more from that display.

Nothing like saying the guy that completely outclassed you is 'nothing special' to make yourself look even worse.

It's like when Tommy Morrison tried to claim that Lewis wasn't that big a puncher a few years back. Still had you doing a yo-yo impression though, didn't he, Tommy?

it just goes to show these top amateurs shouldnt bne held back. Degale, smith, groves, gavin, move them up, quicker the better

dont mean they have to fight for a world title in double quick time, just keep the opposition at a decnt level

Well Khan needed more time considering Prescott chinned him in a round. He didn't seem to learn much until he joined Freddie and seems very trainer reliant!

Its the manner of victory. Degale never really got out of first gear.

Watching back my only complaint is some of DeGale's punching. 50% have proper form and the rest are questionable. Same with the jab, some are stinging some are rangefinders. They need to iron that out before he gets to the next level.
