Malignaggi returns this weekend!

Khan has beaten Kotelnik, Mallignaggi and Maidana, if he beats Bradley and Alexander then Malignagi's loss to Khan won't look that bad. I feel Malignaggi can still be a player at LW against most of the other fighters.

His style was just not suited to Khan, but he can still beat the others. underestimate Malignaggi at your peril.

 

I can't see how you can claim he got a gift from Ndou... I will admit he didn't look as good in their second fight, but he still won it. He also SHUT ndou out the first time, so he could only do the same or worse, save for a knock out.

And his losses all come from people who were previously undefeated...(save khan)- or he got robbed.

Lets look back at his losses and actually analyze them: He lost to Cotto (even in doing, he was the first person to go the distance with Cotto in his championship reign... ) and he even won middle rounds.
He lost to Hatton who was top 10 pfp at the time.
He got robbed by Diaz.
He lost to Khan- For the first time in his career, he got out speeded. Yeah- ngoudjo had his moments of beating paulie to the punch and put him in a bad way in the fight, but Paulie has always been the overall more accurate, faster fighter until Khan.

I used to hate on Magic Man big time. But sometime over the past couple of years he's won me over. He'll never be a superstar, but he's candid and entertaining.

khan is a season fighter who fights the same way every fight no matter who's training him.

 

Thats a tough one, you know... I had both winning rounds. I will even say that the rounds that Ngoudjo won he won by a far wider margin, but there were some rounds that malignaggi won outright as well. And then there were 4-5 "close rounds" which arguments could be made either way. Obviously that night, the judges sided with the champion.(as well they should IMO, if you are going to win the title, you need to BEAT the champ convincingly) I do hear what you are saying though, obviously you gave the close rounds to ngoudjo. So you had your fighter up by 3-4 rounds. I accept that arguement and would not have been upset if that was how it turned out. But I still think that Malignaggi edged a victory that night.

 

Well he is training in the wild card gym now. That A-side meth has been working...

But seriously if he gets a TKO or KO would that raise suspicions. I mean this is a guy who basically has pillows for hands.

 

What happened in the rematch? Paulie schooled Diaz.

Paulie cannot punch, but the notion that he cannot box is a ludicrous.
