He`s always out of shape its lack of discipline and one of the reasons that he`ll never reach the top.
He has fast hands and throws good combo's, but for a guy of his size he fights inside too much. He is aware of this though, and that is why he is working with Manny. His stamina is a question mark because he always comes in overweight, and his power is a question mark. He doesn't always seem to punch his weight, but it could be because he just doesn't put the right leverage on his punches. At times, like agaisnt Scott Bleshaw, he looks devastating. The biggest question mark is is attitude. He has already talked about quitting, and looks like he trains with a Guiness in one hand. All and all, he has more talent than a lot of these guys give him credit for, but he has a long, long way to go in terms of his attitude, training, and ring intelligence.
Why do people go on about the Klitschko's height and weight? Do you not think that if they were built differently that they would have been taught to fight differently at the beginning of their careers? They have the style they do because of their physical characteristics. And any height is a disadvantage if you don't know how to use it.
Because they're far bigger than the guys they're beating. That's a fact. Yes they're still very good boxers but you can't deny that their height is a huge factor and advantage to them in a fight against David Haye. There's nothing wrong with them being tall that's just the way they are. I'm not saying they're terrible and only good because they're big but it's clearly one of the reasons they're so dominant. You've only got to look at their fights. In Wlad's last fight against Sam Peter he was able to cleanly outbox him because of a big size advantage where he could stay behind the jab, lean back and not get caught much due to the distance. If they were the same size it'd be far more difficult for him to create this distance and he'd get knocked out a hell of a lot. You're right you can only work with what you've got in the same way that Haye used his lack of size as an advantage against the lumbering Sugar Nikolay Valuev. Both Klitschko's use their size well.
Its all horse **** anyway. Just another way of degrading them. Ferdie Pacheco himslef sometimes talks about how one of the keys to Ali's success was that at 6'4", he was just so much bigger than most of the heavies of his era. But you never hear the same naysayers talk about ALi's height- only his speed, he jab, his greatness. The Klits are big, and it is part of their succes, but it is not the only part, and they have both beaten some big boys themselves, so the haters can STFU.
yep, and if I've read it right his Mother is the daughter of a bareknuckle fighter called Oathy Burton who was the brother of Uriah Burton, another famous gypsy champion.
Here's a video of fury uploaded one week ago. He looks in his usual shape tbh but one thing he is definitely doing is building some muscle on those arms, his arms are looking big. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSPm0CWqjKE[/ame]
