yes dont we just love the hypocrisy that frank spouts, hilarious at times in all fairness. Froch and Haye get no credit for their achievments, yet their achievements are above any of franks current fighters. I was talking to Paddy, an Irish guy (so perhaps some bias), and he said Macklin looked good from ringside, and the TV didn't translate the fight well in his opinion (IHO)

 

And Macklin wanted a fight with Winky? Damn that would of been a terrible move....

 

Don't judge Macklin from last weekend. It was an AWFUL performance. But everybody has one. If he's bad again next time out, then it's time to begin worryying about his world aspirations. IMO, it was painfully obvious that he was ill in there. After three rounds he was spent, and Varon was a craftly little fighter, throwing the odd low shot

Does anyone know the story behind who shot Warren? I know the perpetrator was never caught and some say it had something to do with Terry Marsh. Has anyone got the inside track?

 

I wouldnt say stunning but i thought he looked good against a tricky opponent , he was banged right up afterward and if you'd looked at both fighters without watching the action you'd swear Macklin had been thoroughly battered !!!!

Will be interesting to see what Franky does with Macklin next , at the moment he's going over old ground ..............

 

Why? because he struggled against a fighter? I think practically every single boxer in history has been made to look crap by a pretty average opponent.

No , i just know talent when i see it and have the intelligence to look past a single loss and weigh up why it could of happened and if that fighter can improve on what he has...
